50 acres with segregated paddocks housing llamas, horses, friendly sheep and a variety of chooks. Hand feeding of the animals can also be arranged.
We also have two child-friendly Maremma sheepdogs (a livestock guardian dog). We also have our own family dogs, a lhasa apsos cross miniature poodle +, and an Australian deerhound cross bull terrier who, are both very friendly and adore attention.
There is a covered BBQ area and toilet/shower block.
Outdoor massage and meditation using crystal bowls and gong are available (to be booked in advance).
Mandala painting workshops on the property can be arranged. Other workshops can also be arranged.
Tuena, a 1860s gold mining town, where gold still can be found in the Tuena Creek, is 26 kms (30 min) drive away. There is a typical old style country pub "The Laggan Pub" is located in the small settlement of Laggan, offering excellent meals (Friday and Saturday nights), bookings are essential. The pub is located 26 kms back toward the main township of Crookwell, which is only 35 kms away. Crookwell has many attractions, including an Alpaca Farm, and is host to many local events.The main camp area is 2WD accessible, and the back part of the property is for 4WD access only. There is an undercover area with a BBQ, a bench for food prep and seating. You will have access to kitchen gear including cutlery, crockery and some cooking utensils. There is access to a toilet and shower.
Enjoy lots of open grassy areas peppered with trees. There are animals you can feed and have selfies with including horses, alpacas, chooks and sheep. You're also welcome to buy fresh eggs. Please see our Extras. We can make ourselves available to take you or your group on local excursions and to local eats so you can enjoy an evening. Booking required for this service.
