Nice campsites but needs some TLC
Partially our fault for booking last minute during the holidays, but the owners didn't seem to know that we were coming. There were no info brochures, maps or any instructions on arrival.
The campsites were large and fairly private. They were also flat and each had an area to light a campfire which was a bonus. The view from the campsite at the top of the hill was nice, especially at sunset, though if you do choose to camp at the top of the hill, be warned that it gets quite windy.
Unfortunately the facilities needed some TLC. The common area was covered in cobwebs, including the shower and toilet, there was no toilet paper and the bathmat was uncomfortably squishy. The resident cats seemed like they suffered from the most neglect though - Very sad to see cats with such matted fur.
Definitely has potential, but I would love to see the common area in better shape.
