Choose the cabin or camping. We have a kiwifruit plantation, and a MUST for all visitors is a meeting with Sarge, our bull! Camping A very beautifully maintained grassy campground beside the creek.  Sit back and enjoy the wildlife or have a sit in the seasonal creek. We have an operational kiwifruit plantation as well as an established fruit orchard. Pet friendly with a communal fire pit.  $25 per head per night. There is a communal camp kitchen with all the basics.  Make sure you get to meet Sarge, the bull! Cabin Sit back and enjoy the wildlife or have a sit in the seasonal creek. OMG… We did not want to leave, the serenity, the beautiful surrounds and too top it off Paul’s Dad, Sam is a champ. Don’t miss this place if you’re near by. I am actually a little jealous of the owners. It’s magical. We love the camp kitchen and bathroom, so unique. Not fancy, just homely and fabulous. Walk along the creek or just sit, smell and listen to nature. Thanks Paul for sharing this space.

Very peaceful & beautiful location. We camped in a tent near the creek and enjoyed the sound of the running water. Plenty of space to spread out and so quiet at night. Paul was a great host who went above & beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.

This was my highlight of my road trip. I had the place all to myself. It’s very well maintained, lawn was mowed, the ammenities were kept beautifully and the scenery was absolutely stunning. The host was amazing and very friendly, I really enjoyed our chat over a beer. I highly recommend this place to anyone passsing through. The cows were super friendly as well!

Just booked our next trip…. Beautiful spot, grounds absolutely lovely and lush no shoes required… shared camp kitchen has everything you need, bathroom very clean…Paul and family are friendly and so helpful…

Amazing camp-site! Paul was so accommodating and friendly and set us up in such a nice spot. The facilities were amazing too. Not a far drive from all the beautiful beaches either. Not to mention the night sky was to die for. Would recommend!

Plenty of room to spread out at Paul's camping area. Lovely clean communal kitchen & bathroom. We really enjoyed our short stay and hope to go back sometime. Our dog really enjoyed the off leash stay as well. Paul is a really great host with lots of local knowledge of what to do in the area.

We loved our stay and wish we had of booked longer. The facilities were clean and tidy. Lots of room for kids to run around and dog friendly! This spot is truly beautiful and we hope to return again soon. Paul and Sam made us feel at home and were so friendly and welcoming.

Paul and the family were so welcoming, hospitable, kind and fun to be around! A chill weekend away with the girls turned into a once in a lifetime opportunity by getting to bottle feed their 1 week old calf, tour their gorgeous property. I recommend coming here for a chill weekend away. You’ll meet some great down to earth people and leave with plenty of knowledge about cows to tell all your city friends! Thank you again!

What a beautiful camping spot! Mountains and sunrise on one side and tree-lined avenues on the other. We had the entire place to ourselves, so felt very lucky not to have to share the space but so much room, and all grass with mixture of shade and sun - perfect blend of camping sites. Paul and his family were lovely and checked in, offering help and encouraging us to raid the huge mulberry tree! The weather cut our trip short, we didn't want to pack up in the rain but would have stayed on quite happily. If you're looking for an out-of-the-way camping spot with beautiful countryside and lovely hosts, this is it.

Peaceful escape into nature, camping but with the luxury of a proper bed and hot shower! Loved the cabin, positioned next to the creek, waking up with the birds, great walks, wildlife and enough space to play cricket and football. Paul was a great host, providing plenty of firewood and petrol for the generator! Really enjoyed our stay!

Secluded cabin with a great feel. You can stay all day, do nothing and just enjoy nature and feel great about it all. Paul was great and patient with any questions we had. Our kids loved the property- the orchard, fire pit, creek and animals kept them entertained for hours. Great spot if your travelling with a dog as well!

An absolute gem of a place. Don’t tell everyone 😂 Paul and Kayla and the family are hosts you dream of having. Nothing is a problem. Private safe sites with miles of room. Camp kitchen and toilet and shower are the cleanest we have encountered. Great creek to get wet in and flat grassy area for camping. Honestly I could go on forever and still not praise this place enough. We have voted this the best of the best. Thanks Critter we will be back for many many visits Our Frenchie Link spooked when we left so we have to come back 😂 Chris and Heather Murphy

We loved staying here. The cabin is fairly rustic but that adds to the charm. We had the site to ourselves which is generally how Paul runs the place. Bathroom is excellent with good hot shower. Power is limited owing to solar and battery, enough to run fridge but no fans or AC. wouldn't be great in a mid summer heat wave.
