Good location, not far out of Macksville and even Scott's Head if you like the beach. Site has power!

Yes, great spot, with awesome views, power available when needed (we didn't need it), and even een flush toilet. Will definitely come back again, did i mentioned those views ;-)

Great views, private site and friendly hosts. Me and my dog had a great time staying here. The site feels safe, is well looked after and easy to access. 10/10 fantastic weekend getaway spot!

We had such aovely stay with Chantel, Giles and family! Beautiful location with fantastic views, only a few mins drive from the local town with a couple of lovely cafes and groceries etc.
Giles even let us borrow his gold cart to take for a spin, and if that wasn't enough he even gave us a proper off-road tour in his jeep round his very own 'jungle' that is so much! (Sorry the Keep died shortly after 🤣😬)
They were also on hand with any help we needed, a little rough round the edges toilet wise but we didn't mind as we like that wilderness feeling, one thing I would say is pack your mozzies spray.
100% recommend and will definitely be back when we are on this side of the world again xx

We had a wonderful stay on Chantel and Giles's beautiful property - with a view of their very own rainforest as far as the eye can see! We even stayed an extra night as we loved it so much!
Giles even let us borrow his gold buggy for a little adventure of the site (even though I checked out when it got a bit wild! But on return he piled us into his jeep for an off roading jungle adventure - which sadly the jeep did not survive 🤣 (sorry out trip led to that!)
Only thing I would say is pack your mozzies spray as they are pretty intense!
Felt lovely and private though on the hilltop with a rugged feeling. Being only 10 minutes from the town for anytbing you might need. Giles and Chantel were there to help with any questions and things we might need too.

The view is incredible. There’s a flushing toilet with a great bush view and bush walks in every direction. Chantel is a lovely host and our grandkids had a great time. We also loved the dog. It kept the kids entertained and never bit anyone despite the kids being all over it.

Lovely views, the camping area needs a bit of a tidy up, and reattach the door on the toilet that was lying in the bush, having power was handy. Paid for a barrow of wood but there was only 2 very small logs and we ended up collecting our own from the property. They were flexible with arrival and departure times as it is quite with not many travellers due to covid, not as quite as we thought it would be due to busy road not far away.

Thank you Chantel for your warm welcoming. We enjoyed the visits from the four legged members of the Hilltop family. The site has amazing views and is close enough to the township for supplies too. The few days we spent there in our camper trailer were just right to help us unwind before heading home.

The Hilltop site is a very beautiful location. Easy to find and Chantel is a very accomodating host. Having a toilet and power is really great! We loved our time there. Close to the highway so that’s convenient but also super peaceful! We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful, comfortable campsite with everything that you need - flat ground, plenty of space for your vehicle, a toilet very close by and as an added bonus, a super special view of the surrounding mountains and bush. We had the pleasure of meeting Chantel who was a really lovely and welcoming host. Her pup kip was also a sweetheart, and a very kind and considerate visitor. We will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks Chantel!

Just the spot to recharge your batteries (solar or hollistic!). Nice flat and private campsite with absolutely stunning mountain views. With nice weather the sunsets are spectacular. If you do need anything you are only a few minutes drive from Macksville but you certainly wouldn't know it. The benefits of having power and a toilet can't be understated and Chantel is an extremely friendly, helpful and gracious host. My dog and her puppy Kip spent most of the days mucking around like kids which suited all of us I think. Having a fire at night and sleeping in a swag under the stars made this a spot and a time to remember. Highly recommended. Thanks Chantel (and Kip).

Beautiful Hilltop camping site! Sunrise and sunset were absolutely gorgeous.
We arrived there after a rain and it was pretty damp and the water didn't really soak up fast which was a bad point.
We didn't meet the host so we didn't know about the toilets and there's a cute lil puppy that came, play and jump on us.
There's a powerpoint which was very useful for us.
The view was so beautiful that I'd recommend it.

This a great spot for an overnight stop. Quiet with a beautiful view, Chantel was a gracious host delivering us firewood in the rain. The water /electricity and toilet are a great convenience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop. Amazing views and great facilities with toilet and power. Hilltop site is relatively small and tricky to manoeuvre the caravan into but we had plenty of space once setup. Will definitely return when we pass through next time!

What a beautiful place! We had a fantastic stay in our retro caravan! Private area with an amazing view, close by toilet and easy hook up to power. Highly recommend!

Chanel and Giles were fabulous. They were very accommodating and approachable. They are the new owners and still getting on top of things but this had limited impact on our stay. Great views and quirky toilet set up. Thanks for a great few days.

The view at the hill top is amazing and it’s not far from the local town but feels very secluded. Fantastic.
The host was great. They went out of there way to help us when our van got a little stuck due to the rain that they had the night before. Great to meet them and we wish them all the best.

We had a short but sweet stay. The campsite is on top of the hill and that view in the pictures really is what you experience. All you hear are the birds when you wake up and the sound of the wind in the canopies of the trees. We were welcomed by Tim and had a great fire with firewood that can be purchased. Close to town and toilet on site. Highly recommend this spot.
