Clydie’s Knob is located in Wonboyn, 30 minutes south of Eden on the NSW South Coast. Situated on Wonboyn Lake, you’ll have direct access to fishing and swimming with the ability to launch a kayak or small boat. Larger boats can be launched in Wonboyn village which is a 5 minute drive from the campsite. The cleared grassy campsite is on 65 acres of bush land where you’ll find kangaroos, wallaby’s, wombats and plenty of birdsong. A fire pit is available for use when fire bans aren't in place. There is plenty of fallen timber on the ground which you are welcome to collect and use for the fire pit but strictly no falling of trees. Clydie’s Knob is surrounded by the Nadgee Nature Reserve which offers bushwalking, birdwatching and swimming in a pristine landscape. The beaches offer great diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing and picnic areas, all within 15 minutes of our campsite. A pit toilet is available at the site. Please note - This is not fancy! But it does provide privacy. Please ensure that you bring your own hygiene products and toilet paper as this will not be provided. Only toilet paper and paper towel is to be disposed of in the toilet, sanitary items must be placed in your bin. All rubbish is to be removed at the end of your stay and we ask that you leave the property as you found it. 4WD or AWD is recommended for access to the property.Enjoy a secluded grassy camp area amongst the trees. Absolute amazing campsite with incredible scenery. This campsite provided everything we needed and more. The location was a perfect stop on our roadtrip and has been the talk of the trip. The hosts were so generous in helping us out after our battery died with a jump, we couldn’t be more grateful for them!! Have and will continue to recommend these hosts and campsite to friends and family. Thank you again!!!!!!

A large, mostly flat clearing in the bush alongside the river made this the perfect campsite. Large flathead biting first cast. Take the AWD 4WD seriously if you're precious with your car. We made it in using the other track but not without bottoming out a few times and scraping along thick brush. Our fault for taking a city car bush. Cheers to the host for the clear and constant communication

My first thought was to write a really poor review so we could increase the likelihood of staying here again whenever we wished...but that wouldn't be true. It's a great spot! Right on the river, a world away from pretty much everything really. Easy access, great site and what was very important to us...only one group can book at a time - no sharing! How good is that!? Excellent communication with Codie really added to our experience as well. Thanks Ms Codie...looking forward to our next trip!

Great spot for camping and kayaking,, not so good if you have a small boat on a trailer the only place to launch it is very muddy other then that I would highly recommend it

Serene, peaceful, fantastic

This is a fantastic camping spot, peaceful and serene. It is private with access to the river and lots of flat, grass covered places to setup camp. Amenities are also great with a clean toilet and fire pits. The hosts were great communicators who were fine for us to stay longer and enjoy the location on our last day. We will be back for sure.

Our stay Clydies knob was wonderful. The access to the river is great, and easy to launch our kayaks. The block has lovely bushland and a nice cleared area for camping with a number of firepits. It feels very secluded but not far from Wonboyn lake and Nadgee Nature reserve.

We had a wonderful time here. Amazing, tranquil site. Codie was a great communicator and accomodating of last minute changes. We got a huge storm and the site drained really well and didn’t become boggy. Hipcamp was a last resort for us having had what we’ve thought were overpriced and pretty average spots in the past, but this was well worth it and will happily come back next time we’re in the area.

This place was truly amazing!! If you want to escape the crowds and relax is a private setting then this is the spot. Lots of space for a van or a few tents. 10/10

By far one of the better hip camps out there private Plenty of space if you wanted to bring a group great fishing salt water river not sure about water fill point but we went into town eden to fill up our water bladder about 20min drive there 22ft caravan can get down do dramas off road caravan definitely tho not sure how normal one will go getting over entry point nice grassed area fire pits Toilet on site if you wanted to use if you dont have your own Great spot

What a slice of paradise! I had the most relaxing camp at Codie’s property. The forest driveway, grassy opening, river frontage and well-kept amenities all added to the stay. I had monitor lizards, kangaroos and friendly wrens all visit me during my one night stay! Will definitely be recommending this Hipcamp!

My mate and I are driving from Sydney on a road trip and found this spot. Absolutely loved the name (lol) but the site was amazing. Brilliant serenity and good privacy to unwind and relax from after a big days driving. Highly recommend!!!

Great communication with Codie and excellent directions. Peaceful and relaxing place to camp, have a fire and swim in the river - not forgetting to have a cold one at sunset! Would highly recommend staying at Codies place, Clydies Knob.
