Welcome to our easy-access, flat campsite with stunning scenic views. Experience magical sunsets with Castle Rock aglow on the horizon. Whether you're a weary traveler in need of a pit stop en route or looking for a tranquil escape, our location just off a quiet road is ideal. Situated at the heart of Sandy Hollow, Denman, Muswellbrook, and Aberdeen, all just a short 15 to 20-minute drive away, this camp area is the perfect base for exploring the region. Enjoy the convenience of a drive-through flat camp area measuring 16m x 45m with an all-weather surface. The area is bordered by trees, offering protection on the sides, whilst allowing for clear skies above to recharge your solar batteries. We do have separate male and female toilets for your convenience. Please note, however, they are up a set of stairs so are not wheelchair friendly. There is a barbeque available to use. Plus, feel free to cozy up around a contained fire, however, you MUST adhere to current NSW Fire Brigade restrictions/conditions. Whether you're looking for a brief overnight stay or a short retreat, our campsite is a quiet oasis along your journey.Great spot for an overnight or short stay to refresh on your travels. We spent 2 nights there, and we were the only guests. The location is excellent, with spacious grounds and exceptional tranquillity. Although the site is near the road, you won't see a vehicle for hours. You can explore the property on foot, and there's a surprise if you hike to the top. There are many bird species in the area, and we also saw a few wallabies and rabbits. The hosts were very helpful.

Had a wonderful stay at CastleRock Camp. The area is right on the road but super quiet and minimal traffic. Pet friendly and fires allowed. We had a lovely one night stay in nature. Basic toilet block with no lighting

Tent camping at Castle Rock Camp was terrific. Great instructions by the hosts Karilyn and Tony. Amenities are basic but work well. Access to running water at the handbasin was very convenient. Giant's Leap hike at Sandy Hollow was recommended by Tony and well worth the short drive.

I really enjoyed the stay. Karilyn and Toni are good hosts. The camping ground has very easy access for any car. Plenty of room to have a car and built a tent. They were also very helpful and gave me tips for hiking trails. If I’m going to plan my next trip in the area I’ll be definitely staying again.

Castlerock was very easily accessible and short travel into muswellbrook.Karilyn was fantastic to deal with, and the amenities block was a great addition. I would gladly recommend Castlerock for a stop over or or short stay.
