We had such a great stay. Lovely spot, well cared for and peaceful. We were very spoilt by the host with firewood, eggs, and hot water. Grateful. Thank you!

Mik works hard to make a really welcoming spot to camp. I have seen it change and improve with new spots over the years and really enjoyed my stay again this time.

Location is beautiful really close to 4wd drive tracks. Lots of places to explore nearby. Mik was very accommodating and we enjoyed the space he had to offer. We will book again.

Toilet had no water and it was revolting with all the faeces in there… All campers on the day called owner multiple times and none were picked up. Kinda ruined half of the experience despite that initially the site looked quiet and nice.

Had a great stay at Camp Rossi, a nice quiet spot next to the creek. Mik was a great host! The toilet was clean and the lawn mowed, will be coming back!

Our group loved camping at Miklos’! He and the other campers really made the experience. I’d absolutely recommend camping here if you’re after a cozy campground with a great community feel!

Great spot! Although it felt the space was quite cramped, and instead of 6-8 camp sites 4 would be the perfect amount for each group. (Understandably is was Easter, and he did say hicamp overbooked him)
The running creek was lovely to sleep to....
The motorbike revving at 8pm was not though, especially after trying for an hour to get our 8 month down to sleep.

Site 3 - Camp Rossi Creek Campsite
There is mobile phone service (with Telstra, not Optus), a supply of firewood and a toilet which includes a sink basin.
During our visit, we encountered a storm and the creek was flowing rapidly, luckily we were staying on the same side as the property, rather than crossing the rocks that go over the creek otherwise we would've been stuck.
4 things recommended for improvement:
1. Better signage upon entrance to create a more welcoming invitation.
2. Become more active in responding to Hipcamp messages.
3. Clean out the dead spiders and cobwebs in the bathroom.
4. Mow the grass when there are expected guests.
Overall, we had a nice stay as the location was remote enough to see the beautiful stars.

Site 2 - Camp Rossi Creek Campsite
Drive in country beautiful, host friendly, approachable location beautiful too. Miklos Apologised for site not being mowed. We booked over a month ago the site should have been mowed and whipper snipped . Where the fresh water was in grass up to our knees. We ordered and paid for eggs we had to ask for them. The toilet facility was appreciated although not swept nor de cobwebbed nor cleaned daily .
Other than the mowing etc not done the site itself was great and if the other sites were mowed it would have been better and more enjoyable

Camp Rossi was amazing, quiet, far enough away from the city that you could see the stars but close enough for tourist shenanigans, bubbling stream next to the camp ground, clean toilet and drinking water available. Miklos was a superb host, look forward to the new additions to the camp ground. Lovely llamas in the field across the stream.

It was a good spot nice and quiet not to far from the forest could go out 4wd for the day .. plenty of room for the trailer . Mik was a nice bloke to talk with came to check if we needed anything then let us do our thing. 🤙🏼

Overall we had a good experience, small beautiful place and there is a small creek just next to the camping site, but the road to go camping site was dirt road and BBQ area was very small and looks like no one used for long time and when we start using it the gas finished, river is small so if someone wants to swim not good place for it.

Despite only having a 2WD Miklos land was really pretty easy to access. The dirt road to access Rossi from the North was a bit interesting in the wet weather but so long as you're careful you should be ok.
We carried out stuff across the creek to camp and had a nice flat spot and honestly could have fit another two tents up there with no real issue.
The firewood supply was very generous but absolutely bring an axe to cut up some of bigger pieces
Having a toilet was fantastic and the tp supply was generous too, we bought our own but didn't end up needing it.

A nice haven to relax in. I stayed with my husband and doggo in our van and we all came home feeling refreshed. The running creek was blissful to fall asleep next to and great for a splash to cool down in. The property had all our basic needs covered and we made friends Miklos’ doggo, chooks, neighbouring llamas and sheep. Miklos is a good bloke - helpful, friendly and good for a chat.

Nice little camp sites next to the creek very relaxing at night Mick is a nice host very welcoming drops off fire wood gets the fire going for you also good bloke to have a yarn with.
Having a flushing toilet is a big bounus I recommend coming out here even if it's for a night or two and short drive from Canberra.

Rossi creek was lovely a cute little place with four campsites located around fire pit by the creek . clean flushing toilet an hot water. Level ground free from sticks and twigs no issue pitching a tent.
The sound of the frogs in the creek the rain on the tent and the mist coming over the mountains just magical The local sheep over the fence were very entertaining watched one destroyed the food shed within minutes all by himself I guess he was hangry. The rooster was courteous enough not to make a sound till about 8 am an we only heard him once or twice.

Mik’s place is a beautiful spot, flowing river and private site, my fiancé and I had a great time exploring the nearby state forest. I’ll be coming back for sure and I might even bring the guys for a 4wd and fishing trip. Thanks Mik!

Mik was there to greet us with a lit fire when we arrived. The land was beautifully flat and freshly mowed, and right next to a gorgeous creek. The main house and the camper-accessible bathroom were handily close, but out of sight from most of the campsite so it felt quite private even when shared with another camping group.
Our dog also really enjoyed exploring the local area (on-leash, of course!). We met chickens, cows, sheep and even a llama, which was all very exciting for a fur-baby who spends the majority of his time on a couch.

Mik's camp was great.
The camping area was clean and well looked after. The fire pit was well used by us,
Mik was nothing but helpful.
The toilet was an added bonus!

I had an opportunity to camp here along with my friends. It was a great experience. Miklos was very helpful he provided us with firewood. Were also able to buy milk from him.
The only confusion was in the beginning since we had booked site 3 but we could just find the site marking for 5 thats all. Couldn't find site 2 or 3 or 1. It will be good to have indicators at the entrance. Apart from that everything was great. We camped at site 5 and the experience was good. The toilet facility is really good. Hot running water in the middle of the cold night is a blessing. Would definitely go back again.
