We had such a lovely stay here. The property is absolutely beautiful with serene, wide-open views that make you instantly relax. It’s peaceful, well-kept, and a perfect spot to unwind after a big day. Highly recommend!!

Gorgeous view, perfect for an overnighter with my kids. Sunset was beautiful. Had water at the site, even though we’d brought our own, and Sarah was great. Very welcoming and even took us around the farm in their 4x4. Kids loved it, slept like a log and would highly recommended for an overnight stay.

Stunning Views

We had such a beautiful stay at Burrendah at two tree camp site. Sarah was lovely meeting us at the gate on arrival. The property and views were stunning. An easy 25-30 minute drive from Canberra it was the perfect balance of busy tourist days and relaxed country evenings. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 4!

Wonderful tidy camp with plenty of space for the kids and a beautiful view to enjoy! Sarah was a wonderful host, offering to bring hay up to feed the sheep and answering any questions we had prior to our stay. Thanks so much for having us! Would definitely stay again!

I cannot get over the view! Gorgeous little camp spot big enough for a big group, plenty of room for the kids to play and then a view that will be seared in your memory for a long time to come! Fun little walk to the best river in the world (The Murrumbidgee of course!). Great host, great views, will definitely be back!

We had an awesome long weekend at Burrendah Farm Camp! Sarah was super friendly and easy to communicate with, which made everything really smooth. The campsite was perfect, beautiful spot with incredible views of the Murrumbidgee River. We saw so much wildlife during our stay, an echidna wandered through our camp, two eagles flying overhead, heaps of roos, wallabies, lizards, and plenty of birds. It was great having access to the cottage too, with a proper bathroom and running water. Highly recommend this place if you’re after a peaceful spot surrounded by nature. We’ll definitely be back!

Valley views and wildlife galore!

We had such a great time at Sarah's farm. Sarah, her dad Peter and husband Nick were all super helpful and friendly. The site is great - amazing views, lots of wildlife (we saw a wombat, two wedge tailed eagles, lots of other birds, numerous lizards, some wild deer and heaps of Roos and wallabies). The walk down to the river for a swim and fishing is no big deal (my 6yo managed it no sweat) and it's worth being a bit more elevated to take advantage of the amazing views.

Sarah met me at the gate and guided me down to the site. I have little car but still managed to get down to the site with no issues. Very lovely spot with no traffic noise and you can hear the Murrumbidgee

We had an amazing time at Sarah’s farm. Our boys loved feeding the sheep and enjoying some oranges off Sarah’s trees. We walked down to the creek and built a big campfire. Thank you Sarah for an amazing stay!

A nice little camp site next to the dam, the host was friendly and directed us to the site. We don’t own a 4x4 so it was quite a hike taking our gear up and down the hill, and suggest bringing some extra firewood if your camping in winter, but it was a peaceful spot and enjoyed the sleeping echidna 🦔

Burrendah Farm camp- 2 big trees is an exceptionally beautiful place to camp. Sarah, the host is welcoming but also not intrusive. So close to great wineries and 20 minutes or so to all the good stuff in Canberra. Recommend 10/10

Our third visit with Sarah and our second to the Two Big Trees site. The views are beautiful and we loved watching the baby lambs get frisky and playful. We were able to feed the sheep some lucerne in the evening which was a genuine treat. We also spent some quality time with Sollie which was quite lovely, he's great company. Sarah is an outstanding host which is why we'll keep coming back.

Our experience at Burrendah Farm was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, Sarah was incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. She even went above and beyond by personally showing us the way to the river to make sure we could get there safely. The property itself is stunning, and the views were amazing. There was truly nothing to fault. We highly recommend booking with Sarah and will certainly be back again!

Relaxing and only 30 mins from ACT

A great spot and only 30 mins from Canberra - a beautiful vista and we were lucky to have such great weather on our stay. The use of the cottage was brilliant and very convenient indeed. Sarah and her family were very accommodating and easy to deal with. Staying in a RTT was easy enough as we found a plank of wood to level out the car. The only downside is the first night, I think the preceding weather coaxed out a flying beetle breeding session so we had to take cover but second night was beautifully clear.

A serene getaway at Burrendah Farm

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Burrendah Farm. The host, Sarah, was friendly and communicative, even showing us the way down to the stream and river which border the property. The hut with a toilet added a touch of comfort—a luxury when camping in tents. We appreciated the seclusion from others, while loving our visit from Sollie, the friendly farm Border Collie. The rolling hills and river provided a stunning backdrop from the hilltop campsite, while kangaroos roaming the farmland in the mornings added to the charm. We loved the camp (almost as much as our dog did). Highly recommended for a peaceful nature escape!

Happy campers

We stayed here as we have two kids under 6 and still wanted to be close to Canberra to do the tourist things but have enough space where we could have some down time in our van. We had myself and my parents in their van and it was a great experience. Sarah is wonderful and even surprised the boys with a certificate of bravery as our first night had some big winds. Willie the border collie came for a quick visit each morning and went away. Sarah was a wonderful host. Thank you so much

Our home away from home!

Thanks Sarah for sharing your piece of paradise! What a spot, 360 views all around, stunning sunsets each day! As we were visiting I or daughter in Canberra, it was the perfect spot to stay at, easy access in and out and only a 15 minute drive to her! It is also surrounded by some great wineries and local produce! We will definitely be back!

Camping with a view

The campsite was absolutely perfect for us. The view of Murrumbidgee river was fantastic. Pictures do not make it justice at all. We had access to a bathroom with running water, but it was spaced out enough that the cottage wasn’t too “in your face”. Our dog had a lot of fun lounging in the sunshine while the sun was out. Resident Border Collie came for a brief visit which was a bonus! We saw some wallabies and even a wombat.

Our stay at Two Big Trees at Burrendah Farms was fantastic. We got a bit unlucky with the weather and got some really strong winds which made setting up and packing down pretty hilarious. The upside was getting a sneak peek of a vivid rainbow through the dark clouds - perfect! We loved the views, the peace and quiet and we have already booked a return stay.

Beautiful place to stay

Great area, really peaceful and serene. The fire pit was great and tap water and wood readily available. Sarah was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
