200 acres of beautiful farmland situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Enjoy a campsite overlooking the stunning Brindabellas, a small spot next to the dam, if you bring your 4WD, or a fabulous site next to the old cottage that comes complete with a flushing loo! Our beautiful border collie, Sollie, will naturally want to come say hi no matter which site you pick. There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property, so please keep them on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. All campers must have their own supplies and be self sufficient as we do not supply any amenities: you will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet, shower and water. Please do not dig a toilet hole, even though you leave it covered, it doesn't take long for the foxes to dig it up!! There is mobile reception. No shooting, archery or hunting. Camper trailers and caravans are welcome but can only stay at the easily accessible camp site. Please note, the road to the river is now impassable even for 4WD - we will update here when it is back up to scratch. But you do get your pick of 2 other lovely sites!

Dam Paddock Tranquil Site

96%
(12)
Tent site · Sleeps 3
*Please Note* dam is a little lower at the moment but still pretty! ---- A wonderfully secluded site by the dam suitable for 4WD (or can be walked to fairly easily). It is a real joy to sit by the fire at night and overlook the water and the Brindabellas. This site is only big enough for 1 tent. The sheep may come and visit at night! Please note: there is no mobile reception at this site. For adequate reception for phone calls/texts, you will need to book at the Two Big Trees Campsite. For OK reception to watch a bit more of that Netflix show, you will find a good spot along the property's main road.

Two Big Trees - Accessible Camp

100%
(25)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 10 · Vehicles under 10 m
Enjoy a beautiful grassy field under the shade of the Two Big Trees and overlooking the Brindabellas. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular here along with starry nights beside the campfire especially when the full moon arrives. This large, highly accessible site is just off the dirt road. Expect a little bit of traffic in the morning and afternoon as our family heads to town, but otherwise, you will have the place to yourself!

River View Cottage Camp - with loo!

100%
(9)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 10 · Vehicles under 10 m
This site offers spectacular views of the Murrumbidgee River and is the ONLY site from which to access the water (a 15-20 min walk). Free wifi. You will also have access to a FLUSHING TOILET (yippee!) and perfectly level ground if you choose to set up camp adjacent to the worker's cottage. Alternatively, there is a large open field that will require a trailer/camper that can be levelled as the ground is sloping. The Worker's Cottage is the location of the loo and sink and kitchen prep area. Please note that we do not allow people to sleep in the cottage - it is NOT accommodation. You will love this spot if you have doggos that want a big open space to run without getting distracted by the sheep, or if you are a keen fisherman looking for your own private stretch of the river. There is phone reception for calls (with Telstra) but normally not enough for internet. Please note the river journey takes 17 mins by foot (7 mins following an animal track and 10 mins on a formed fire trail). Good walking shoes are essential. You shouldn't choose this spot if you are looking for a 'real' outback camping experience as it is situated next to the worker's cottage and close to the shearing shed (so it doesn't feel as remote). You also shouldn't choose this spot if you have a lovely new car with low clearance as the track is a bit bumpy (please check out the pics). A reminder that you are NOT booking the cottage as accommodation, you are booking the adjacent campsite.
