Come camp along the beautiful Wilson River on a working cattle property. Shady, grassy campsites by a flowing river, just 25 minutes drive from Port Macquarie. Check in time is strictly prior to 7pm. The camp area includes toilets, a basic camp shed, where campers can make use of the picnic table, stainless steel food preparation bench and camp fire pit. There are only 2 sites available with power which is included in the site price. Check out our discount for single travelers and extras like eggs and firewood. Fresh honey also available sometimes during the year. Toilet block newly built. Early check in and late checkout available on request. Laundry services available on request. If you have 3 or more children please call me for a discount. Also we have a huge discount for single travels. Kids will love the farm tour (4.45pm to 5.30pm daily) for the feeding of chickens, horse, sheep and goats. It's an excellent area for mountain bike riding as well! Kayaks available for free. Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. linktr.ee/wrightyscaravans. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy. Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site. Rules: 1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 4.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times. 2. No Fireworks - this is very unsettling for our livestock 3. 9pm quiet time. 4. No drones in the camping area, for the privacy of other campers 5. Generators are allowed for short period of time but not permitted after 8pm. 6. Dogs on leads when walking around the farm - Limit of 2 dogs per camp site. Site 3 - Large grassy area with lots of shade in the summer. Very close to the communal camp shed and communal fire pit. There are small fire pits available to have for a private fire on your site. Great campsite by the river, the site was super well kept with clean toilets and enough activities for families to come along with kids and keep them entertained. The generosity of Rick and Cheryl was outstanding. My partner and I felt safe and was greatly appreciated of the hospitality. Firewood was offered once arrived and sites were clearly marked, with supplied fire pits. Would highly recommend going as this was such a beautiful area and the river was so warm and relaxing to be next to

Beautiful, lush green area. Paddled their onsite canoes upriver. Lots of birds, including tawny frogmouth and her baby. Also saw a goanna.Relaxing and peaceful.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Bundilla site 2 with power, it was a spacious grassy site close to toilets and river access. The river is amazing to swim and kayak in and was very refreshing and a great temperature! Kayaks are provided free of charge which is fantastic. The toilets are spotless and clean and we appreciated the herb garden which you are welcome to pick from. There are small fire pits for use at the camp site. Rick and Cheryl were both friendly and helpful and we'd love to visit again one day.

This was my second time camping here. I really love this place. Big grassy sites. Great swimming holes and plenty for the kids to do out of the water too. I recommend this place to everyone

Beautiful flat grassy camping right next to the stunning river. Well behaved dogs welcome. Kayaks and body boards provided free. Well maintained drop toilets. Fires permitted in off ground fire pits. You can also buy wood and fresh eggs.

Enjoyed our stay at Bundilla, good size grassy spaces. Rick and Cheryl have done everything to make a camp here enjoyable including the cleanest long drop I have ever sat on with some quirky touches. A nice big grassy area for the kids with swings, boogie boards for the river rapids. Even picked a bit of lemongrass from the herb patch for a cuppa. I would say best suits a family get together with kids.

Such a peaceful place to stay. The camping area was lovely and grassy, no bindi’s!!! Spacious sites, enough fire pits for everyone , relaxing by the river, listening to the cows was a real treat. The river was beautiful and clean, wonderful for swimming. Easily sign posted , Cheryl and Rick were delightful to chat to , very helpful. Definitely be coming back

This camp is beautiful!! Facilities are clean and well kept, the river is beautiful with kayaks etc supplied to use for free, and the kids (and adults) loved the farm tour 🥰 Will definitely return!!

A lovely, quiet riverside campground. Plenty of space, grassy sites and some shady trees. The river is easy to access and a great place to swim or kayak. Cheryl and Rick, the hosts are very friendly and accommodating and can provide fresh eggs. Recommend!

Our second time staying at Rick and Cheryl’s and it was even better than the first. The river was pristine and the most beautiful temperature. Rick and Cheryl were so accommodating for our large group with a million children, they were so lovely to talk with as well during the farm tour. It’s a wonderful spot and they upkeep it so well. Thanks again guys we will be back

We had such an awesome stay at Bundilla River! Rick and Cheryl are absolute legends — so friendly and welcoming. The kids loved feeding the animals and checking out the veggie patch. The camp itself is super quiet and so pretty, with heaps of space. The river is amazing and perfect for a swim.

Rick and Cheryl were wonderful hosts! Their property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, spacious and conveniently located just a short drive from Port Macquarie. The river is a fantastic spot to relax, fish, and swim, perfect for a quiet getaway. Highly recommend!

The road in told us this place was going to be good. Sites were lush green with trees that murmur in the wind and a river that gurgles as it goes thru the property. To poetic for you, well just think areas where the kids can play bare foot, toilets are super clean and hosts drop by for a chat to see if you need wood or fresh eggs.. We had a perfect spot with plenty of room. Dogs enjoyed a paddle and lying on soft grass. We liked. It so much we stayed an extra two days and would recommend it to anyone that wants a relaxed environment. Oh and did I forget they feed the animals in the afternoons, sheep, goats, ducks and I hear a baby donkey will be arriving soon.

We stayed at Site 2, which is a powered site. It was spacious and serene. Loved being able to have a campfire all throughout the stay. We all had a great time in the river, swimming, kayaking and just relaxing. Cheryl went out of her way to set up a Christmas are for the kids with some farm animals. Overall a great stay and definitely recommended.

Beautiful place to camp, my kids absolutely loved feeding and interacting with all the animals on the farm tour and kayaking down at the river, its so nice that there is play equipment for them as well ! We will definitely be back 🥰

Had a wonderful 4 nights at Rick and Cheryl’s Hipcamp. Definitely put this one on your list. They were amazing hosts, delivered firewood and fresh eggs to us that you can order. The creek was awesome, toilet’s immaculate ( I was a little afraid to go knowing they were drop toilets, and oh boy, wasn’t I pleasantly surprised) They have bikes, kayaks, pizza oven, campfire pits all available for guests to use. Our son loved the animal feeding in the afternoon. This place is a little gem and the price wow!!! We will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much for having us 😊

Lush and green along the river

Bundilla River Camp. What a spot, lush green grass along the side of the river. Our site was huge, campfires 🔥 allowed and 🐶 too. The walk to the one end of the river is through the bush full of stags and elks, some of them would be more than a metre across. Such a beautiful walk. Each afternoon they allow you to go up to the house to feed their animals, sheep, goats, horse, rabbits, geese, chooks, they have it all. A lovely full veggie patch too. They also have bikes, canoes and paddles boards so you can relax in the river when ever you like and the use is included in your stay cost. Firewood can be supplied at a small cost and there are toilets too .. check which sites have loos or you can be self sufficient all the way down the end of the grass like we did This camp is about 25 mins from Port Macquarie where you can get basically anything. Thank you Cheryl & Rick for having us, you will definitely see us again

The campground is great. Nice grassed big sites, giving you plenty of room. The river is great for swimming kayaking or just laying around in. The farm animal tour is also great for the whole family not just the kids. The owners are very accommodating. I will definitely be going back.
