Great location, close to Crescent Heads and National Parks. Was a treat to have the place to ourselves. We were staying in our hard floor camper trailer and the gravel area was too small and rough for us to setup there. We had to use the grassy area and that was not very level and the ground uneven so was hard to get setup level. I think this site is best suited for campervans or rooftop campers as was not easy for us in the trailer.

On the positive side, the site was indeed private and easy enough to locate. However, the site itself didn’t have enough gravel and was fairly small; making it tricky to park our caravan. The site is also surrounded by very large gumtrees which might be a safety issue. Finally, we felt that the gravel site patch was too close to the road (private) and early morning we had a number of cars drive very close to the van.

If you want a quiet stay instead of hearing your neighbours snore at a caravan park, this is the perfect spot. Mobile coverage is very low so download your movie or music up front. Much better though is enjoying the stars :-)

Fantastic site just outside Crescent Head. Super quiet and easy instructions to find the site. Perfect gravel graded area for a self contained campervan away from the crowds with the site to ourselves! Will definitely stay again if in the area.
