We had a great time camping at Jonathan’s place, he was super friendly and had a private camp site close to the toilets and shower. We were able to feed the animals in the morning and see the baby piglets just 2 days old. I would definitely come back again!

We had such a wonderful time at Anthan Farm with the added bonus of seeing many (!) 12hr old piglets.
The facilities were perfect for our needs. Firewood available on arrival for our first night. Campsites were private. The host was lovely and super accommodating. The eggs delicious! The goats hilarious and a fan favourite with my three year old.

Such a fun experience as a family! Feeding the animals in the morning was a highlight for our toddler, and the toilet and shower facilities made the camping experience that bit more comfortable. Jonathan was very accomodating with anything we needed. We would definitely return again one day!

My partner and I stayed at Anthan Farm over the October long weekend. We loved the fun farm animals and the camp site with bush scenery. Jonathan is a great host, very accomdating. Upon arrival he showed us to the sites that had privacy and also brought over his 2 week old puppies so we could have a cuddle- very adorable! The camp kitchen is indoors and great for washing up dishes. We loved the goats - they are very friendly!

Jonathan was such gracious and accommodating host. He welcomed us to his property, provided an excellent site, explained the ins and outs of his property and hand delivered wood, kindling amd fresh eggs to our site. The site was well kept, large and easily accessible. The following morning Jonathan treated our 4 year old son to an animal feeding experience where he got to feed goats, pigs, chickens and sheep. Super close to Canberra and only 15 mins to Braidwood. Nice for a quick get away or even longer. Will definitely be back and highly recommend Jonathan and his hipcamp.

Unfortunately we had booked on (without being informed) on the same weekend as a hunting dog training course and a Birthday party held at the hosts house approx. 200m away. So both nights we had loud music and party scenes around us, which when we came for a scenic camping experience with two kids under 3 wasn't great.
The campsites were also very close together and not at all remote, however the area is beautiful in itself and the goats were a laugh and our eldest daughter loved being with them.
I'm sure without the loud music it would have been a completely different experience and I'm sure others will appreciate the relative closeness to nice country towns and some scenic views of the mountains.
Overall I would recommend, but we did get very unlucky it seems. I would hope in future however the hosts (who were very nice) could have let us know in advance of the party and the loud music.

The site was easy to access and flat, the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The kids loved feeding the pigs and goats. My hubby had fun yabbying and the hosts supplied traps. We managed to catch 3.

We loved our family stay at the farm. We had our caravan parked in front of the dam which was such a beautiful view. Johnathan was such a lovely host and the interaction the kids got to have with the animal was amazing.
Braidwood was 15min away which is a beautiful little town with little boutique shops and cafes.
We can’t wait to come back for a winter escape next time. Thanks again Johnathan

Jonathan and Bell are great hosts and the camp sites are spacious and private.

Jonathan's land was beautiful and full of things to enjoy. We had a great campsite set up at the back of the property, and the other sites look just as lovely! There is potable water by the main house which was super helpful. We saw kangaroos from our site and Jonathan told us a wombat lives under their porch, which we were sad to have missed!
In the morning Jonathan invited us to feed the animals with him, and it was so fun to be a part of the farm in that way. He explained to us that they participate in Woolworths no-waste program, so they take all the produce and breads that Woolies would otherwise toss, and use it to feed the pigs. I love this sustainability venture. Would totally recommend a stay here!

Kids absolutely loved the pig feeding each morning, and the pups, geese, chickens and goat. Lovely family making us feel welcome. Not far from the property house and close to braidwood, canberra and surroundings for day trips and supplies. Will be back

We stayed 2 nights at Anthan Farm and absolutely loved our stay! Johnathon we great and met us at the gate and took us to our site. My kids loved feeding the animals and learning about them also! Firewood available and fire pit at each site.

Loved the flat spacious camping area. The hosts Jonathan and Bell are ate very welcoming and the animals are very cute. Short drive to Braidwood which was perfect for food, coffee and shopping. Highly recommend a stay here

We camped with camper trailers on site 3. Plenty of space and privacy from the other two sites with campers. Really appreciated the firewood and to be able to a fire. Would also be a great spot to camp with kids.

Our family had a lovely and relaxing time at the farm. The highlight for the kids was making friends with the animals (Princess the Pig was a fave) and other kids at the farm. Thank you so much!

Quiet and level camping spot next to a fire pit. Children loved the interaction with the animals including Princess the Pig and seeing piglets which had just been born. Jonathan and his family were very hospitable and made the stay very pleasant. We were in a spot far enough away to be private while not being very far from the animals.

Great hosts.
The property was easy to find. We pulled up our large van by a nice dam and a large pig paddock. I was a bit sceptical but the pigs were delightful neighbours - and no more flies than you’d expect anywhere else.

We enjoyed a lovely quiet night overlooking the dam and the pig paddock!! Would recommend those in smaller vans stay at this awesome property! We are a 9m van and were restricted due to size but still had an awesome night!!!
