To protect our lawns, Anchorage Park Urunga now requires the use of breathable eco grass-friendly camping mats or enjoy the grass. Thank you for helping keep Anchorage Park beautiful. With the warmer season approaching we advise to familiarise yourselves with the NSW Rural Fire Services - Bush Fire Danger Period runs from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026 Check out our social media pages for current up to date NEWS Riverfront campground on the majestic Kalang River. Boating, fishing, crabbing, swimming literally from your awning. 20 minutes south of Coffs Harbour, 5 minutes from Urunga town centre. All sites are waterfront, somewhat level and grassed. Communal fire pits and potable water on-site seasonally - Contact us before arrival. All campers must be self contained (removing rubbish and must have own toilet) Use of boat ramp, jetty, kayaks and fire pits available from farm house. Wood for sale This is a dog friendly campground inviting self contained campers to enjoy our beautiful property. Raised individual fire pits are allowed (no fires on the ground) Out of respect for our campers privacy and insurance requirements, UNAUTHORISED entry to campgrounds is prohibited. Note ** extra adult charge refers to (school) children 16 years or older staying with parents. Group bookings are welcomed, please contact host directly for details **Conditions apply

Our Kelpie 'Raven' & Jack Russell 'Baz' may visit now and then. They are both very friendly and somewhat boisterous - Please DO NOT feed or allow them to jump. This is one amazing property full of lush green grass. There are plenty camps here and they are all private with plenty of space The hosts Angela & Troy are lovely and are among some of the best we have met. You can have a campfire and doggo’s are invited as well. You must be self sufficient ( BYO toilet) with water also The rest is plenty of room to fish and swim if you really want to or just relax around your camp. The town of Urunga is quaint and filled with lovely people. We rode our bikes the 6 km to town for breaky ( The Boardwalk ) most days. The local butcher has amazing quality tasting meat and for those of you passing through out of hours he even has a refrigerated vending machine with a huge choice of meats. The local pub is 7 days with great bistro meals and is also dog friendly in the beer garden, there is a golf course and plenty of places to walk, So much in this tiny town Thank you Angela & Troy we have loved every minute of our time at Anchoridge and we will Definitely be back

We camperd for 3 nights at Anchorage Park. Superb location, right on the river & close to Urunga, a quaint little town. The grounds are beautifully kept & host Angela is a delight. Highly recommended.

Definitely one of if not the best Hipcamps that we have stayed at. We stayed on site 5 which has open access to the river which made for great fishing. Angela is an awesome host and she keeps the property immaculate. Definitely going to become a regular place for us to visit.

Wow just gorgeous spot. We will be back . Angela and troy were very friendly and accommodating hosts, and pleasure meeting there furbabies. Our furbabies had a great time swimming and rolling around in the well maintained grass.

What an incredible property to have the chance to see and experience! Super easy to find and access in my van. The perfect overnight stop on my drive from Sydney to Brisbane. Stunning waterfront spot that was grassed and well maintained. Be aware that the campsites are very close to one another. The peeps there when I arrived were set up well for privacy and were friendly, so it was nice to wave and say hello. Bonus stars for friendly hosts and furry four-legged friends!! Thanks for hosting such a great place Troy and Angela - I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again!!

This place is a must! We had the best time here, felt like we were on holiday! After months on the road this was perfect! It’s so peaceful and tranquil and the hosts are absolutely amazing! Do yourself a favour and go and camp here!

This is a tough review to write. On the one hand I selfishly dont want it to become impossible to get a booking and on the other it’s the best campsite I have been to… I have been to many Hipcamp sites but this is just something else, head and shoulders better than anywhere. We had an amazing welcome from Angela am felt relaxed and at home from the minute we arrived. The river is right next the sites but despite that we had no issues with mosquitoes or sand flies. When you come visit try keeping the lights off and dipping your toes in the river, I can’t guarantee it will be the case but when I did the bioluminescence in the water was absolutely amazing.

Absolutely our go to spot for Urunga area now, Troy and Angela are fantastic hosts, the sites are perfectly positioned on the waters edge with magic views across to Urunga. It seems so far away but its so close to town.

This was our 2nd visit to Anchorage Park and we loved it even more the 2nd time! We stayed for 5 nights on site 3 which has a great view over the river and is next to the steps so easy access for swimming etc. Great locarion to explore the mid north coast, so many amazing beaches nearby including a number that are dog friendly plus the national park. Angela & Troy were exceptional hosts, so welcoming and knowledgable about the area, we will definitely stay here again, loved it!

A beautiful spot right in the heart of Urunga, set along the stunning Kalang River. The views down the river are absolutely picturesque, and the campsite is spacious with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Nothing beats relaxing by a fire beside the river at night — a perfect getaway!

We love this place. Have been a few times now. Beautifully manicured, great location, and whilst they have expanded the number of sites, it's still peaceful and uncrowded. Urunga is such a beautiful location too which is an added bonus. I reckon if I lived in Urunga, I'd still go to Troy & Angela's for holidays. Troy and Angela were super-friendly and a pleasure to deal with which just topped the stay off.

Troy and Angela have a piece of paradise here for campers. A magical location right on the river where you can enjoy the sunrise as you wake and the sunset as you relax in the evening. It is a peaceful location with the campsites suitably distanced. Troy and Angela were welcoming and engaging and we felt comfortable and relaxed as soon as we arrived. We would highly recommend Anchorage Park to other campers

Our family had the best time at Anchorage Park, I have already recommend it to friends and family. We plan to visit again one day. Angela’s hospitality was top notch, as was the fishing and crabbing. Kids loved grooming the ponies. Site 2 was spacious and grassy with a fabulous view. Wish we could have stayed longer!!
