Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect) Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :) Visit our hen house! Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer three listings - a converted schoolbus, retro trailer, and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Battery operated lights are provided. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. Bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Our trailer even got a flat tire the day we tried to leave and him and his friend helped us change the tire before leaving that day. We will stay here again!"

I bought my land in 1999. Back then I was the only one living on Austin rd past the end of the county road. Austin rd was still a gravel road then and so was Hanging Rock rd. Learn more about this land: Pitch a tent, bring your RV or something in between. Hunting fishing hiking relaxing in the trees. You can stay here and explore the Columbia river gorge, Mt Adams or Mt Hood, or head to the Yakima valley. Lots of deer and turkeys and other forest animals. Walli sturgeon and salmon are just some of the fish you can catch in the Columbia river or the Klickitat river. Pick huckleberries on the side of Mt Adams. Listen to the wind blowing in the tree tops as you rest and nap in the sun or shade. Territorial views and just 6 miles to town-close enough for beer and ice cream in the middle of the night( Sentry market open till 10pm). Maryhill museum is about 25 miles away. Biggs junction and I84 are just 20 miles and highway 97 is only 4 miles away, Toppenish wa is only 55 miles up north highway 97. Room for turning around big rv’s. Bring your grill and lawn chairs, mountain bikes or recumbents, Fence panels available for a temp dog kennel-limited availability. , No porta potties on site at this time. The guest bathroom accessed through the back door of the mobile home is available for use you will need to bring your own towels, soap ect. Right now there is wifi available at the mobile home by starlink. we hope to be able to extend it to the green pole barn building in the near future. Garbage can be dropped off down by the mobile home in closed garbage bags. At this time you will need to bring your own firewood and grills. Hope to have fire wood for purchase next year as well as fire pits/grills on site. Some rolling terrain, lots of flat spots for camp. The road in is a little rough but my Audi TT doesn't have trouble except when the snow melts and turns into slush. Lots of privacy because the county road does not run past my place and each camp site is aprox 1.5 acres each so you have room for social distancing and privacy or you can find a spot that looks good to you and make your own camp. Located 1/2 mile off of the paved county road. only 3 neighbors within half a mile( the trees are thick enough you probably won't see them ever). Burn ban in effect June 1st till October 1st.

Barn Valley

Property has been sold. May 3rd is the last night people can stay. Thank you for your time. We had fun hosting you. As you pull of the main middle fork road you take your first left down to our gated property. Plenty of turn around space to back in your trailer or rig into each of the 5 sites. Easy access to the Teanaway Community forest tons of outdoor adventure. Hike, Bike, Fish or even can ride your dirt bikes, snowmobiles, or horses all within minutes or just off the property doorstep. Property is over 4 acres, in a great location. 1.5 hours from Bellevue and 10-15 minutes to breweries and eateries in Cle Elum. Property is cross Fenced and was setup for horses. We now use these separate pastures/pens as campsites. You enter property through shared driveway with main home (double green gate). This home is our vacation home and Airbnb and not shared use for campers. The 3 pens/corrals in the center are for individual (1 vehicle) RV and Tent camping, fully fenced in for your furry friends to be off leash and relax with you. These each only accommodate 1 vehicle or 1 vehicle with trailer. The northern pasture ( furthest left as you pull in) is for group camping use (charged per vehicle, please only book if you have multiple vehicles) and the Southern most pasture ( far right as you pull in) we are keeping with the ranch spirit and letting equestrian lovers rent, but also for groups (please only book with multiple vehicles or if you have horses). The three main/central RV/tent sites are over 100' long and 50' wide. Center site , #2, is 9' wide cattle gate you can pull in your trailers, vans or vehicles into. Most campers are 8', so you are threading a bit of a needle, go slow, but if I can do, anyone can :). Best for camper vans, short trailers and similar. Site #1 and #3 have 18' wide double gate entrances and easy for anyone to reverse into. Recommended for folks with slide outs use #1 and #3 sites so you can get distance from the fence easily. Know/Measure your vehicle before you book. Potable water is readily available throughout the property with a total of 2 drinkable water pumps along the fence lines. It is hard water, so be prepared for a mineral taste, but nice and cold. Blue jug by fenceline is for putting out camp fires before you leave/go to bed or just filling up your dogs bowl. Please put back and secure to pump with cord provided after each use. We are a pack out what you pack in camping experience. NO trash cans, NO restrooms or hookups of any sort. You MUST be self contained. You can attach your hose to fill up your RVs and trailers to the pump, but not permanently during your stay. It is a shared service. Please be respectful of your neighbors and quiet hours are after sunset or after 10pm, whichever is first. Please keep dogs leashed if crossing the vacation property to go for a walk. In your fenced in campground pets are free to roam at owners responsibility and discretion. Do not leave animals unsupervised. Welcome to Barn Valley and Enjoy the wonderful Teanaway Valley!
