Own a boat or jet ski? bring it, plenty of space to park your boat and watercraft trailer. If you are into quads, motorcycle riding or 4x4 off-roading this place is perfect. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away. Winter time campers are welcome too! Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival. Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

Overview

The Yakima Valley is well known for its large concentration of wineries, found both right in the town of Yakima and in the nearby Red Mountain and Rattlesnake Hills areas. However, even RV teetotalers will find plenty to do here, from learning about the valley's Indigenous and pioneer history at the Yakima Valley Museum to taking advantage of the ample hiking and mountain biking trails and 109 lakes in the surrounding East Cascade Mountain Range. RV sites can be found within Yakima's city limits, both at privately owned RV parks and resorts and in the riverfront Yakima Sportsman State Park, which also offers a dump station. Privately owned, RV-friendly Hipcamps also exist in and around town, many of which feature sweeping vineyard views, bathrooms, and picnic tables. Know that summer temperatures can get hot, with highs consistently in the 90s in July and August.
