We had a great time at the Dog and wind Mountain Rv park. The host was very polite and attentive. Very quiete and clean place.

Stephanie was very responsive even though she's out of town, as well as her husband Raul. He's very accomodating and kept asking us if there's anything we need. The location is easy to find and near famous tourist spots as well as establishments. We love the shower outhouse it's so pretty and the warm bath felt amazing. I'm not sure if it's because the owner is there but they let us use their toilet which is a huge plus for us. We have our own toiletries but they do provide if you need them. There's towels too if. Both are clean, comfy and smells great. They have tables, chairs and hammock if you just want to chill. There' a mini fridge outside if you need to chill drinks or some food. You can also wash clothes. We pitched tent in the grass. Mosquitoes not so bad, my husband got a few bites but none for me. We also met their neighbors dog bob and he's a great handsome dog. Also their cat penny who loves pets is the best! We are mostly outside visiting places but felt relax and felt homey once back there. We had a great time! It's just me and my husband but i think it's also best with kids. Will definitely go back if there's a chance. Highly recommended!

Weekend Trip to Dog and Wind Mountain RV Park

This is a very nice little park right on the banks of the beautiful Columbia River. I met the owners Astrid and Rolf and talked to them for quite a while. They were extremely friendly and helpful and excited to tell me all about how they built the park themselves from nothing over the last 25 years. If you're coming in with a bigger rig, I'd suggest coming via the southern route through Cascade Locks as the bridge to cross the Columbia is much wider there, and there are no tight tunnels. Next time I return I'll definitely be going that route.

2 nights at Lavender Farm

Camping at Everett’s site was perfect for us. It was wonderful to relax at the lavender farm with a clear view of surrounding scenery. It was also great to have. Chance to talk to Everett, who is a great host. Highly recommend.

4 nights at J Squared River Ranch

Beautiful and serene camping among the meadows and cottonwood trees in southern Washington. The hosts were most friendly and welcoming. The camp sites are far apart; as a result, you have privacy and quiet even if there are people in the other campsites.

This was a decent spot. The owner was out of town, but his sister and brother-in-law were around to meet us and help with any issues (there were none). Great place! I can see it being a bit less great if all the spots were occupied, but still beats an RV park any day of the week! Remember to bring cash if you want to buy wood bundles!

Stayed the night on Tyler’s land to break up a long drive to the Oregon coast…it’s was perfect! Host came by when we arrived to see if we needed anything…he had fire wood if we needed it. His RV/Camping spot are spread out and clean. We will definitely use Tyler’s land again in our future travels.

Weekend Trip to Mt Hood Vantopia Base Camp

My friends and I rolled up to this beautiful spot just off the road, and it was exactly what we needed after a long drive from Bend. Finding campsites can be tricky this time of year, so we were stoked to land such a peaceful and well-kept site. Even though it rained all day, the covered area made a huge difference in giving us space to eat dinner, hang out, and stash gear while we set up our car camp. Plenty of room for my pup to run around, and the on-site bathroom was super clean (huge bonus!). It’s also a great jumping-off point if you're looking to explore—Mt. Hood is just one of many nearby adventures. Max was a great host and was responsive, helpful, and welcoming. Would definitely come back!

3 nights at Timberlake Campground & RV Park

Perfectly located in the heart of the columbia river gorge for all your outdoor adventures. Nice and quiet campsite for RVs and Tents. Clean bathroom and very friendly camp hosts. They have a small store on site for a few items you may have forgotten.

Weekend Trip to J Squared River Ranch

The site was almost completely level, set up was a breeze. Tyler's sister and brother in law were awesome hosts, they responded promptly with our wood orders and were lovely to talk to. We definitely are looking forward to our next trip in August.

Staying on Tyler’s land was just what we were hoping for . A peaceful environment with large spaces between campsites. There was a lovely trail to walk to the Cowlitz river where there are areas for bank fishing. We hope to return during fishing season.

2 nights at Gateway to the Oregon Coast

Talon and family have an amazing spot that is very quiet and clean. Our camp site was also able to accomidate our 42 foor 5th wheel under his cover! Helped with our rainy weekend. Talon also communicated very well, asking of any needs. Lookng forward to areturn visit later this year.

1 night at 🌿 Viridia Acres 🌿

Finding the property was super simple, and it was obvious where the designated parking spot was. Their property was very peaceful!

1 night at Grange Hall Gardens

This is a nice spot with friendly attentive hosts who make sure to get you oriented, and pleasant pastoral views of the rolling hills of the Willamette Valley. As stated in the site description, the dogs do bark through the night, but if you're good with that, this is certainly a beautiful, well kept place.

Nice quiet park easily accessible clean and the host was friendly and welcoming and it was affordable. its close to a lot to see and do i took my sons rafting on the white salmon river

1 night at J Squared River Ranch

We had a wonderful stay here with our 24-foot travel trailer. The site was peaceful and incredibly serene—perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. We spotted some local wildlife during our stay, which made the experience even more special. The hookups were excellent and made setting up our trailer easy and hassle-free. Everything was well thought out and provided easy access, which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a quiet and well-equipped place to camp.
