Reconnect with nature and escape the heat on our 28 acre filbert orchard, better known as hazelnuts. On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Feel free to roam the orchard, play a little hide and seek, hang up a hammock, or bring a blanket and picnic. Within walking or bicycle distance are fantastic amenities including Aurora Colony Vineyards, Pheasant Run Tasting room (Friday summer concerts), Aurora Colony Pub (acoustic Thursday), Filbert Farmhouse Restaurant, White Rabbit Bakery, a local park and lots of antique stores. Within driving distance are tons of wineries, breweries, distilleries and the Woodburn Outlet Mall. Here to visit wine country? Group Campsite 5 - Orchard View
We camped in the super hot weather but stayed comfortable in the shade, bathrooms and shower was great! Present spot.

This spot is magical. Friendly host, cool shade tucked between the filbert trees and great location to check out wineries, parks and antiques. We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this location and will be back.

It was a very peaceful spot to camp, and really close to the cute old town! Appreciated the clean bathroom and outdoor shower. Would stay again!

I had a great stay on Shane’s land, such a cool experience staying in an orchard. The sites were very clean and offered lots of shade and a unique and aesthetic camp set up. The bathrooms were clean and a short walk from out site.

Great time at the orchard!
The orchard was wonderful. My sons enjoyed running amongst the trees. The new flush restroom is an excellent addition, and the showers were wonderful. Shane was super helpful and very quick to respond to questions.
