We offer a magical bush retreat with all the modern felicities with a range of camping and accommodation options: -The Eclectic Bush Haven is a family-friendly camping area where kids under 12 yrs camp for free, campers booking this option have access to camp kitchen, toilets and electricity. -The Yarralen Retreat Camp Ground 2 is a more secluded camping area for off-road campers that are completely self-contained with their own toilet, kitchen facilities and power. -The Butterfly Caravan and Retro Glam Vans are renovated caravans nestled in the rainforest. -Yarralen Retreat Glamping are glamping tents offering the perfect romantic escape, or if you just like camping but don't want to set up a tent, this is the perfect choice. - Our Entire Property Exclusive option means you can book out the whole place for your group to enjoy privately. Please thoroughly read the site description which explains exactly what this option does and does not include. Our 40-acre property features eclectic, arty, and striking sculptures and artworks. Stroll through the beautiful bush surroundings, visit the water lilies, and say hello to the roaming peacocks. The campsites are located on a grassed area surrounded by a corridor of tall trees for your shade and comfort. We're not far from the beach, with Grassy Heads being the closest beach. Bellinger River Tourist Park took over in 2009. We have been slowly improving the land along the way and hope to make more improvements as we go. Adored by both young and old, you can find us halfway between Brisbane and Sydney, 3km off the Pacific Highway in the small town of Repton, just 10 minutes drive from the well known arts and craft town of Bellingen and just 15 minutes south of the conveniences and attractions of Coffs Harbour. Our park has a variety of accommodation options available to suit your needs and budget. Choose to stay at one of our powered or unpowered caravan and camping sites, with our waterfront sites large enough to accommodate all types of camper trailers, caravans and motor homes. As a Pet friendly park, you can bring along your additional family member on holidays with you, subject to the conditions of our Pet Policy. For the convenience of our guests, our Family Orientated Amenities block features 10 suites with hair dryers disabled shower, baby room, men’s room, guest laundry and a filtered water bottle station. We have a dump point located onsite with easy access. Bring your boat and your fishing rod along, and enjoy the magical sunrises and sunsets of the serene Bellinger River, right from your site. Pet Policy: Pets must be kept on a lead (retractable lead locked at no more than 1.5 metres) at all times and either retained by hand by an adult or tied up within your camp site. There is no “off leash area” in the park. Pets are not to be left unattended whilst you go out, they must go out with you. Pet owners are responsible for collection and disposal of their pet’s waste which must be sealed in a bag and disposed of in a rubbish bin. Bags are available for purchase in the office. Pet owners are personally responsible and liable for any and all injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions relating to their pet. For the enjoyments of all guests, please do not allow your pet to urinate etc on any guests site or property. For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted in the Amenities Block, Laundry, Camp Kitchen, Community Garden, Pool (including pool area), BBQ area, or near, in or under Villas. If you wish to bath your pet, we have a bath located near the Back Boom Gate. Please feel free to use it. Please DO NOT wash pet bedding in the washing machines, dryers or laundry troughs. The Park Manager reserves the right to request that a pet and its owner leave the park if the pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive or inhibits the quiet enjoyment of other guests. Clearly a professional park, but great to stay at all the same. It is next to “Back Creek” which is a much smaller and nicer setting than the Macleay River (just north) in our opinion. We stayed during a wet period and the site drained fairly well, although we did need to buy some sand pegs for our awning and annex tent. Park is well maintained. Staff were friendly and professional. We had to make an after hours call with a boom gate issue and caretaker was immediately available on phone and super helpful. The little waterslide at the pool provided a lot of amusement to our teenage children lol. Ensuite had lovely hot shower. Read other reviews re theft and yes, can see the potential for that as the park is basically open to the creek frontage and the public boat ramp car park. We were careful to lock our belongings and had no issues. Hot tip - recommend going to the Macleay River District Fisherman’s Co-op (on the road into town) in the mornings for super-fresh seafood.

Yarralen retreat was so beautiful and had great facilities. I found the camp area really spacious so it was a really peaceful stay. We were even treated to a property tour on the buggy which the kids loved. I was surprised that use of the salt pool was for a charge for campers and this put us off having a dip but luckily the nearby beaches were beautiful and quick to get to.

We had a lovely time at Robyn & Drewe’s place in The Pony Paddock. Of our 5 day trip, this was by far the best evening we had. They were both so helpful, welcoming and accommodating, and the farm itself is so beautiful and utterly peaceful. The facilities were extremely well kept and clean, and that hot shower felt sooo good in the morning!!

Absolutely loved this spot. Far enough off the highway to feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to grab supplies from the local shops at Woolgoolga. Ben and Kylie were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The amenities were spotless and it was so nice to have access to a toilet and hot shower. Topped it off by getting to watch Ben and Kylie work their horses. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back again.
