5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. Easy access off the Forrest Freeway makes this a convenient and relaxing place to stay. Enjoy a lovely barista-made coffee at our farm stall, along with farm meats, great pies, and much more! Shop toilets are located 1 km away from the caravan site. There is currently no power, water, or toilets provided at the campsite, so you’ll need to be self-contained, but we plan to add amenities as we grow. Book for a night or a few and enjoy the serenity and peace of being on a working farm. We have several local towns to explore during your stay—Pinjarra, Waroona, and Dwellingup are all just 15–30 minutes from our farm stall. We’re a great location for travelers wanting a restful overnight stop or a quiet weekend while exploring nearby attractions. Perfect for families, on weekends we provide pony rides for kids at the shop between 9:30AM-1:30PM. There are also shop animals for the kids to see and feed to purchase for them.

This is a lovely, quiet property just a 4-minute drive to Mundaring Village. We’re within walking distance of the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail — bring your bicycles and join the track in Sawyers Valley. Head east to connect with the Kep Track or continue to Mount Helena and Lake Leschenaultia, or ride west down the hill to Bellevue. Black Cockatoo Reserve, a naturally beautiful bushwalk, is only a 5-minute stroll away. It’s also an easy drive to several charming hills pubs, including Mount Helena Tavern, Mundaring Hotel, Mundaring Weir Hotel, Mahogany Inn, and Hemingway's. Wonderful cafés are located within a short walk, cycle, or drive. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead. We really enjoyed our stay at Dale’s due to: welcoming host; being immersed with well cared for and respected domestic animals (horses, sheep, dogs): reflected in their calm nature; limited number of campers; natural shading by established trees; basic but adequate bathroom facilities; central location -access to Swan Valley attractions, shopping, highways, public transport, Whiteman Park (great for families as has free waterpark, playgrounds, basketball courts, tram rides (free for 2025), train rides, museums, cafe, large shaded lawns, natural bushland with native animals, cycling and walking paths and trails). Whilst there is some airtraffic noise at peak morning and evening times, this didn’t impact negatively on our stay; night air cooled; stars shone brightly; minimal ambient noise all made for 3 very restful nights stay. We would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a flying visit to this great spot so only for one evening. The site was fantastic, with fire pit, stools, table and chairs. However could not do a review without commenting on Donna and Micheal’s hospitality. These guys simply could not do enough for us. If you get a chance to stop here you should. Will be back for sure.

Simple and as described. Arrived 6/7pm each day and left early so didn’t actually meet the host - only via text. Markers on the roadside so easy to locate. Didn’t use the shower or toilet as we had our own. Horses in the paddock & the dogs were friendly. A quiet nights sleep. Would happily return

Lots of space for my daughter to ride around the paddock, took a lovely bike ride to town, and on a recommendation from Donna found the raw larder which was a little gem. What a lovely place to stay with such hospitable hosts. It's so serene and quiet yet close to town to grab things then you need. Donna gave us some great local recommendations and Millie the Kelpie was friendly and loved a belly rub. We would stay again if in the area. The site was pretty flat. Enough sun for solar recovery and they even laid a fire and wood out for us. Thank you guys. We fit our 21.6ft van in no problems.

Dale and his dogs and horses were all very friendly and kept us company throughout our stay (camping is in a paddock with the horses, and the dogs come and go as they like). Access to toilet and drinking water appreciated. Plenty of space, and a fire to keep us warm in the evening. 20min walk with the dog to the nearest dog-friendly Pub. A lovely spot.

Just close enough to Perth to get to, just far enough to feel rural. Delightful hosts super friendly. Both sites need levelling ramps and the entry is quite tight so not a place for nervous towers or hire caravans but absolutely spot on for a weekend within striking distance of Perth. Well priced for what’s in offer and swift clear communication throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to return Thanks very much for having us, and sorry again for ‘grazing’ the gate on the way in.

We had a great time with our Caravans and tent for a family weekend away. We booked a horse and cart ride to the Bailey Brewing and it was great fun. Had lots of puppy cuddles and brief visits from the horses, not the grumpy sheep though he wasn’t fond of us. Will definitely come back again

We had a 2 night stay with friends, children and dogs. Dale and the crew were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The horses were delightful and friendly, puppy’s Rolex and Muffin were so sweet and the 2 wee Guinea pigs were a hit with the kids. Sitting in the paddock around the fire pit with the horses strolling past..so nice.

Peaceful Paddock was a great spot to camp. The creek was running, the grass was green. We could have a camp fire & the site was flat. The horses were friendly but not nosey. You are under a flight path, but that didn't worry us. Lots of great places to eat nearby & easy access to the hills & the city. We will happily stay again.

Nice quiet spot. Close to Swan Valley. I recommend for people who are set up for unpowered site and are okay with horses being up close. Not for you if you're going to find them intimidating. Toilet is in the shed next to the house, up near the front of the shed. Shower is the basics. It's the same area as where the horses get washed down, so it's not for the precious. Bring your flip flops. Dale is pretty chill and cares a lot about the animals.
