We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

All sites here enjoy a minimum of 100 metres separation. We love all animals here at Nanga River Retreat and we'd love for you to bring yours along (Remember to book our pet friendly site – ‘River Camp’, and dont forget to bring your little yellow bags please). We also enjoy an abundance of wildlife traffic through the property. We would love to see all the Witches, Wiccans, and other Weirdos out there, we encourage you to book in for a spell. (pun intended) You'll fit right in. 🧙‍♀️ We invite discreet devotees of herbs, and mushrooms, to visit for a while, you will absolutely love it here, with privacy you just cannot get at the park 🤙 Come and find yourself, or maybe lose yourself, down by the river in Dwellingup, forest getaways dont get much better. Please Note; Loud drunkenness, anti-social behaviour, and rude misconduct will lead to eviction without refund, and reporting to Hipcamp. Also, no off-roading. No motor bikes, quads, buggies, or any other form of self-powered transport in the dirt. In-fact while you're here, any sort of hooning on the property will lead to eviction without refund and reporting to Hipcamp. So folks, the idea of this campsite and indeed of the entire property, is that it's intended as a tranquil and quiet retreat for those that wish it to be so. Thanks for understanding. A small advice for those bringing children, in fact for anyone that intends to swim in or be beside the water, this is a wild and unfenced river access area and all care should be taken in supervision. Please see the site rules. One more thing, feel free to contact us via Hipcamp if you're interested in staying here but for some reason fall outside of the site parameters listed on this add, we're pretty flexible and in most cases will be willing to accommodate your needs. 25 acres of bushland 130 km's south of Perth, surrounded by state forest with a crystal clear creek running through it 12 months of the year. Secluded and very quiet with abundant birdlife and the occasional kangaroo, emu and echidna's passing through. Pet kookaburras - will eat out of your hand and steal from the BBQ. Located at the base of Logue Brook dam wall, where a short walk makes all water facilities available, plus trout and marron when in season. Adjacent to the Munda Bidi trail, with cycle paths running in every direction. Not to defray the natural environment, only lovers of wild life and serenity are welcome, so no Ghetto blasters or party animals. Laughing, singing, dancing and joking, actively encouraged! Tents, camper vans, small caravans with good drivers and trailers only. PLEASE NOTE: Weeknights require a minimum of 3 nights stay. Weekends 2 nights minimum. The perfect property for those wanting to explore the sites and enjoy the tastes of the Swan Valley. We offer two separate campsites, accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans, with two people maximum per booking. You must be fully self-contained, and must book in advance - no walk-ins, please. In the right season you can participate in grape harvest or olive picking on site. But at any time of year, you'll always enjoy the view of beautiful sunsets and sunrises and a starry sky on a clear night. A perfect way to unwind. On a good day when our chickens are laying we are happy to share fresh eggs for breakfast. We have 3 friendly dogs. Visitors dogs are not permitted.

Big open area for a group, or nice and private if by yourself. Flies were a little friendly, but that's expected this time of the year. Awesome quick get away for the weekend. Will be back again so i can purchase somefresh eggs. 😆 Highly recommended.

I loved caravaning at Hill Tree Farm. It is a beautiful property with (environmentally) friendly hosts, undulating hills, trees and much birdlife. I had the best night's sleep there as it's so quiet and the campsites are far apart. We will definitely return.

Helps getting out when the bank is wet, dont forget to chuck it in the water before you jump in. We suggest you have a look where the logs and branches are under water before you get in and the water gets muddied.

Dougy's Den is a magical little spot to camp. Beautiful surroundings with tall trees, ferns and babbling brook. Flushing toilet and cold shower, table and chairs under a gazebo. Dougy's Den is a well thought out site and Graeme is a top bloke. Will definitely be back!

Me and my partner stayed at the Honeymoons site and originally booked 2 nights but extended to a 3rd night. It’s a beautiful private spot up on the hillside, well away from others. The track in was pretty easy. We have an RTT with small trailer but anyone with basic 4WD skills could tow a small to medium maybe even large caravan in no worries. It’s pretty close to Mandurah for a day trip or for the long term travelers to get some stuff done. Hosts are really down to earth genuine people. Seen emus, Roos, red tail blacks. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay. Private, quiet and serene. Water and a flushing loo, plus things like brooms and a large table makes this incredibly convenient. Having a large undercover area makes this a perfect stay in any weather. Greame was a fantastic, friendly host.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at jacaranda hill. Communication was great, check in was easy, and so were the directions to our site. Redgum water has a really lovely outlook and far enough away from other sites to be private. Take some ramps for your camper as the site is not level. The farm fresh eggs were great too. We bought our own toilet so didn't check out the facilities.. Thanks. Had a great stay.
