The retreat was built with handmade concrete blocks formed into double thick walls resulting in a wonderfully cool house in summer & of course it keeps the house nice and cosy in winter with the wood fire glowing away. Winter is a great time to relax in the outdoor hot bathtubs and soak up the serenity. PS: Dec/Jan/Feb are total fire bans so baths & pizza oven cannot be lit. Nannup Bush Retreat offers homestead-style accommodation, with wide veranda’s offering unrestricted vistas over beautiful bush land scenery. Suitable for up to eight guests at a time, you’ll be guaranteed a great experience and a relaxing stay.

The best thing about Big valley was the hot showers. Absolutely fantastic. The location of the campsite is great. Not far from Margaret river but far enough to be nice and quiet.

Weekend Trip to Busselton Villas and Glamping

It is a great glamping site. Clean, spacious, full equipped, close to town centre, and walking distance to the beach. The only unpleasant experience was checking in at the reception. The lady rejected to check in for us in the beginning because the booking name is not my official name on my ID. She asked me to change my Hipcamp account name where I made the booking when I asked her for solution. I told her I couldn’t do that and she said she couldn’t check us in then. Until my 8 years old son became frustrated and out of control as he thought we couldn’t check in, the lady suddenly changed her attitude. She checked my ID and the registration form (which contains my full name, ID number, car plate number, all guests’ full name) I filled before I came and finally checked us in. So what was the point to change my Hipcamp account name?!

We had a long drive and arrived late but Denise and Andrew were so welcoming. The campground was so clean and all the facilities were perfect. The river dicks are right there and it's layed out very well. Being able to feed the kangaroos was a highlight for my daughter. I highly recommend this spot. Ryan from Toronto, Canada
