Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush.
There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property.
Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :)
Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter.
Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions).
We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926.
We offer neat nature based campsites in the gully and all campsites are on the banks of the babbling Dirk Brook with a good distance between campsites for privacy.
A great property to reconnect with country
Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing.
We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites.
Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites.
There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds.
Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds.
The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos
Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm.
You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water
We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you.
Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online.

Amazingly quiet campsite. Maclane was incredibly helpful when we arrived and helped us choose the best direction to face the camper trailer. We shared the paddock with a flock of sheep.

We stayed at the ocean view site. Really spectacular views of the lowland area and ocean. Just make sure you have a good 4wd to get to the site. But otherwise the trek is worth it.

Weekend Trip to Bolinda Vale Farm
My stay at Maisie in the Valley at Bolinda Vale Farm was absolutely wonderful. The place was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully set up with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The views around the property were stunning and made the experience even more relaxing.
Deb was an amazing host—warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. She made sure everything was perfect and her thoughtful touches really stood out.
I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend Maisie in the Valley to anyone looking for a quiet, refreshing getaway. I’d definitely love to come back! 🌿✨

Big open area for a group, or nice and private if by yourself. Flies were a little friendly, but that's expected this time of the year. Awesome quick get away for the weekend. Will be back again so i can purchase somefresh eggs. 😆 Highly recommended.

I loved caravaning at Hill Tree Farm. It is a beautiful property with (environmentally) friendly hosts, undulating hills, trees and much birdlife. I had the best night's sleep there as it's so quiet and the campsites are far apart. We will definitely return.

Absolutely loved our stay at Maisie - very cosy, wholesome & lovely for a relaxing weekend! Sound of the water & nature was very peaceful. Felt like glamping which was nice! Secluded from other campsites & view (unless walking past). Would come back and recommend! Oh & farm store for eggs is a must - wish we got them before the trip for breaki!

Me and my partner stayed at the Honeymoons site and originally booked 2 nights but extended to a 3rd night. It’s a beautiful private spot up on the hillside, well away from others. The track in was pretty easy. We have an RTT with small trailer but anyone with basic 4WD skills could tow a small to medium maybe even large caravan in no worries. It’s pretty close to Mandurah for a day trip or for the long term travelers to get some stuff done. Hosts are really down to earth genuine people. Seen emus, Roos, red tail blacks. Highly recommend.

Where to go
Mandurah, Yunderup & Pinjarra
A camper’s (or glamper’s) dream, there’s no end of things to do in Mandurah, from relaxing around Dolphin Quay to kayaking up the Harvey Estuary to crabbing, hiking, or hitting up the golf course. Accommodation options are just as varied, with everything from Mandurah coastal holiday parks to country chalets and riverfront campsites with jumping pillows. A short drive southwest of Mandurah, both Yunderdup and Pinjarra also offer great campgrounds and relaxed, country-town vibes.
Herron Point, Lake Clifton & Lake Preston
Follow Old Coast Road south from Mandurah and you’ll soon come upon a series of limestone-shored lakes. Running parallel to the coastline, Lake Clifton is probably the best-known, with the funky thrombolite reef bringing visitors from miles around. If you prefer to set up camp around Old Coast Road there are plenty of options, too, including campsites on Lake Preston (suitable for motorhomes, campervans, and camper trailers), and a bush campground in Yalgorup National Park.
Dwellingup
Just over half an hour east of Mandurah, Dwellingup is both the Peel Region and Western Australia’s outdoor adventure capital, with world-class mountain bike tracks, rafting, hiking, and Lane Poole Reserve and the Hotham Valley Railway right on its doorstep. A popular getaway spot, accommodation options range from family-friendly caravan parks to campsites in the national park and luxury hideaways just a short stroll from town.
When to go
A popular destination year-round, Mandurah has plenty to offer, whatever the weather. While summer is the most popular month for campers, who come in hoards to check out the canal Christmas lights and stay for the beaches, it can get a little toasty. If the heat isn’t your thing then spring and autumn are great times to visit—with the flowers and the leaves both putting on seasonal shows in neighboring Dwellingup.
