Our property boasts a small vineyard, seasonal fruit and citrus orchard, an olive grove, sheep, cattle, goats, horses, chickens, and our beautiful Australian Kelpie working dogs.
The campground overlooks our crystal clear blue dam and is perfect to take in the stunning WA sunsets.
Park up and just relax and enjoy the serenity, or head off for day trips to take advantage of the wonderful tourist attractions close by. Situated on the scarp, 3km off South Western Highway in Waroona, there is much to see and do in our area.
The campground is secluded, well shaded, away from traffic noises, and large enough to give the feeling you are our only guests. Communal fire pits and firewood are provided when the fire season permits.
We do not currently offer other amenities, but expect this to be a work in progress with future plans to provide ablution, shower facilities and a camp kitchen.

Murray Valley Camping features campsites that are completely open in nature. Each site is close to the Murray River and is surrounded by nature, so you truly feel far away from the rest of the world. The property is close to the famous Bibbulmun track, with Harvey and Boddington equal distances away, so options to explore the region easily.
Campers can go for walks along the river, relax, and enjoy the sounds of nature. Throw your kayak in for a paddle. Throw a line in and try your luck at fishing. As the day slips away, catch a beautiful sunset, as you toast marshmallows by the campfire (outside of fire restriction times).
There are no toilets or amenities, so all campers need to be fully self-contained in that respect, with their own camp toilet and water, and we ask you to take all waste when you go. There’s also little to no cell reception at the sites.
There is background noise from the nearby conveyer belt that goes on and off randomly. Some people take it as soothing white noise while others think it’s overbearing.
Pet-friendly, so you're welcome to bring your four-legged friend along.

A small advice for those bringing children, this is a wild and unfenced river access area and all care should be taken in supervision. Please see the site rules.
Feel free to contact us via Hipcamp if you're interested but for some reason fall outside of the site parameters listed, we're pretty flexible and in most cases will be willing to accommodate your needs.
Remember, this is camping by the river, not glamping by the pool!

There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and family dogs on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite.
THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY.
The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site.
CHILDREN - The dam on the property is unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past).
Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property.
Our communal BBQ area is now open with a gas BBQ, picnic table and sink. We suggest bringing your own cooker, kettle, esky, etc, Bringing your own drinking water is a must, as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam.
We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open cooking flames during fire bans.
All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa pig and our goats will always appreciate your veggie scraps.
Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives).

Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush.
There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property.
Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :)
Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter.

This is a parkland area, with both trees and open areas. It does have quite a bit of wildlife as in Kangaroos, possums and bird life. This camping area is a couple of km's (walking distance) to state forest with The Munda bindi bike trail and Bibbulmun walking track.
Campfires permitted within local regulations - not over summer.
Please do not drive around the block as there are other campers. Stick to the tracks. If you want to 4x4, there is state forest up the end of the road.
Pets welcome but please ask prior to booking as we have livestock. Must be kept on a lead when approved by host.
There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace.
If you are looking for a real rural experience with beautiful forest to wake up in this is the place. Close enough to Donnybrook if you need it but hidden away as

It is a very quiet place nice and green and the tranquility of the river running through with some small rapids and an abundance of birds to keep you entertained. There is heaps of room along the river bank but not all on level ground. You do need to be fully self contained as there are no facilities as per the ad but there is limited power on some sites. It is reasonably close to Donnybrook and there is every thing you could need available there.

Beautiful spot to stop in at. Next to the highway and is a busy road however you zone the noise out. The paddock had a small water catchment which was lovely too look out at and much wildlife to enjoy.
Instructions easy and plenty of space to enjoy. The farm stall was also lovely. Thanks for having us.

This was our second visit and loved it even more than our first (in the middle of summer). Such a great spot, we had the place to ourselves, aside from the sheep, horses and ducks. It was a little wet, but it didn't dampen out trip as we bought along our own firepit. We're sure to be back again. Thanks Renee

Fantastic, quiet camp with the host Jo more than helpful with information and directions, even coming down to welcome us and have a great chat. We used the communal fire pit and had an amazing night under the stars. Ground was a slight incline but nothing a few leveling ramps couldn't sort out. Thanks again

Very easy to find and what a lovely property, we experienced a very funny and friendly sheep along with the inquisitive horses. Highly recommend, we camped up along side the Preston river and our views of the property were fantastic.
