We have 3 beautiful and secluded sites to offer, right in the heart of the Dwellingup State Forest, 1 of them on the banks of the Murray River. All sites here enjoy a minimum of 100 metres separation. We love all animals here at Nanga River Retreat and we'd love for you to bring yours along (Remember to book our pet friendly site – ‘River Camp’, and dont forget to bring your little yellow bags please). We also enjoy an abundance of wildlife traffic through the property. We would love to see all the Witches, Wiccans, and other Weirdos out there, we encourage you to book in for a spell. (pun intended) You'll fit right in. 🧙‍♀️ We invite discreet devotees of herbs, and mushrooms, to visit for a while, you will absolutely love it here, with privacy you just cannot get at the park 🤙 Come and find yourself, or maybe lose yourself, down by the river in Dwellingup, forest getaways dont get much better. Please Note; Loud drunkenness, anti-social behaviour, and rude misconduct will lead to eviction without refund, and reporting to Hipcamp. Also, no off-roading. No motor bikes, quads, buggies, or any other form of self-powered transport in the dirt. In-fact while you're here, any sort of hooning on the property will lead to eviction without refund and reporting to Hipcamp. So folks, the idea of this campsite and indeed of the entire property, is that it's intended as a tranquil and quiet retreat for those that wish it to be so. Thanks for understanding. A small advice for those bringing children, in fact for anyone that intends to swim in or be beside the water, this is a wild and unfenced river access area and all care should be taken in supervision. Please see the site rules. We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Miss Piggy’s Ranch is a private campground, surrounded by wineries, gin distilleries, breweries, chocolate factories, and a variety of restaurants. There is easy access to bike trails. The perfect property for those wanting to explore the sites and enjoy the tastes of the Swan Valley. We offer two separate campsites, accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans, with two people maximum per booking. You must be fully self-contained, and must book in advance - no walk-ins, please. In the right season you can participate in grape harvest or olive picking on site. But at any time of year, you'll always enjoy the view of beautiful sunsets and sunrises and a starry sky on a clear night. A perfect way to unwind. On a good day when our chickens are laying we are happy to share fresh eggs for breakfast. We have 3 friendly dogs. Visitors dogs are not permitted.

Helps getting out when the bank is wet, dont forget to chuck it in the water before you jump in. We suggest you have a look where the logs and branches are under water before you get in and the water gets muddied.

Another great stay! Peaceful camping near the river with awesome bird life - saw Rainbow Bee Eaters, Blue Wrens, red tail black cockatoos and kookaburra daily while sitting back and relaxing. Shane is a great host and will be back again!

We stayed overnight at River Camp. It is a beautiful secluded spot. Plenty of wildlife. We saw kangaroos, a quenda, blue wrens, parrots, kookaburras and of course some friendly magpies. We are planning to go back shortly.

We stayed at the ocean view site. Really spectacular views of the lowland area and ocean. Just make sure you have a good 4wd to get to the site. But otherwise the trek is worth it.

Big open area for a group, or nice and private if by yourself. Flies were a little friendly, but that's expected this time of the year. Awesome quick get away for the weekend. Will be back again so i can purchase somefresh eggs. 😆 Highly recommended.

I loved caravaning at Hill Tree Farm. It is a beautiful property with (environmentally) friendly hosts, undulating hills, trees and much birdlife. I had the best night's sleep there as it's so quiet and the campsites are far apart. We will definitely return.

Me and my partner stayed at the Honeymoons site and originally booked 2 nights but extended to a 3rd night. It’s a beautiful private spot up on the hillside, well away from others. The track in was pretty easy. We have an RTT with small trailer but anyone with basic 4WD skills could tow a small to medium maybe even large caravan in no worries. It’s pretty close to Mandurah for a day trip or for the long term travelers to get some stuff done. Hosts are really down to earth genuine people. Seen emus, Roos, red tail blacks. Highly recommend.
