5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. It is recommended that only 4 Wheel drives for access and a high clearance caravan/trailer. We have 5 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them, on the left beside the creek, and Site 1 next then site 2, sites 3 and 4 are paddock side on the right. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track. The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Our camping set-up is a work in progress, so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Children are welcome, but make sure you are prepared to look after them. This is not a place to let then go feral. This is a working farm and has all the dangers that go with that. Please appreciate our home, as we are opening it up for you to enjoy as much as we do. From plants, rocks and old equipment, you may not be aware of its significance, so please be respectful and dont damage our home. Miss Piggy’s Ranch is a private campground, surrounded by wineries, gin distilleries, breweries, chocolate factories, and a variety of restaurants. There is easy access to bike trails. The perfect property for those wanting to explore the sites and enjoy the tastes of the Swan Valley. We offer two separate campsites, accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans, with two people maximum per booking. You must be fully self-contained, and must book in advance - no walk-ins, please. In the right season you can participate in grape harvest or olive picking on site. But at any time of year, you'll always enjoy the view of beautiful sunsets and sunrises and a starry sky on a clear night. A perfect way to unwind. On a good day when our chickens are laying we are happy to share fresh eggs for breakfast. We have 3 friendly dogs. Visitors dogs are not permitted.

The wagon sleeps two in a double bed and includes linen and next-door has a separate shower, toilet and kitchen in its for your exclusive use. its fully self-contained with a quaint kitchen including a fridge, sink, microwave and hot plate for cooking with all the utensils you could need. Alternatively prepare a grazing board to enjoy some wine from the many gorgeous areas around the property... It’s all set for rustic charm, pure relaxation and tranquility. You will love our collection of old cars, trucks and vintage farm machinery. There are two gorgeous gypsy wagons so you could enjoy them with another couple, friends or family. Why not get a few friends together to stay in the gypsy vans or camp together. There is a firepit where you could toast marshmallows or enjoy the sunsets from our beer garden area and a bbq for your use. We were located right near the lake. It was lovely and peaceful, exactly what we wanted. Paul came around and introduced himself and gave us some background which we enjoyed hearing. Communication with him was fantastic. We were greeted by the chickens and they came visiting during our whole stay. They loved my husband and followed him round. Will definitely book again in winter when we can do a bonfire and sit out under the stars.

Great location close to Dwellingup and Lane Pool Reserve. Take a 15 amp converter as there’s only a 10amp set up. Take up the Wi-Fi offered if you like to stay in touch as there is no signal at all. Lovely location but you’re on the main Pinjarra-Williams road so expect truck noise overnight.

I really enjoyed the Changi site. Wide open space for both privacy but also close enough to have a group between if a gathering. Was just two of us at the time, was very quiet. Sheep roaming non invasively and saw a few kangaroos hopped by. Will definitely return. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dale’s due to: welcoming host; being immersed with well cared for and respected domestic animals (horses, sheep, dogs): reflected in their calm nature; limited number of campers; natural shading by established trees; basic but adequate bathroom facilities; central location -access to Swan Valley attractions, shopping, highways, public transport, Whiteman Park (great for families as has free waterpark, playgrounds, basketball courts, tram rides (free for 2025), train rides, museums, cafe, large shaded lawns, natural bushland with native animals, cycling and walking paths and trails). Whilst there is some airtraffic noise at peak morning and evening times, this didn’t impact negatively on our stay; night air cooled; stars shone brightly; minimal ambient noise all made for 3 very restful nights stay. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Love the peace at 100 Acrewoods, our third visit, first one we have done in December, like every where, there were lots of flies and the March flies were nasty, so just make sure to be prepared, We had plenty of room for 2 caravans and vehicles at Opera 1.
