We have a separate area called" paddock view camp sites " only 3 camp sites available so everyone can have privacy - this area is for self sufficient campers only, there is potable water , sites have the morning sun and shade in the afternoon, our sheep wander around that area and horses might come up to say hello too .

Travel the old drover's track [now a scenic road - Parry Creek Road] to Hairy Dog's Fishing Camp and Lazy Dog campsite, located on the banks of the Ord River, home to the famous sportfish - barramundi. Tropical wildlife, lots of birdlife and crocodiles coexist here and you have river views, access to boat ramps, local attractions including a bird sanctuary. Set above highwater mark, the campsite sits safely on the riverbank with views of the historical landmark on the Bend of the Ord, House Roof Hill. Birdlife twitters about all day (and some through the night), while agile wallabies hop on by. Trees for shade and water for cooking/washing make for a comfortable campsite. A shared and well-maintained ablution block contains 2 showers and 2 flush toilets for all to use. You can enjoy an open fire at our large fire-pit. If you have your own boat, it can be launched and moored from the camp's boat ramp. No kayaks, canoes or floating-type watercraft are able to be used in this section of the river due to the large crocodiles that live here. A plunge pool is available for a 'cool off'. Our campgrounds are a good one hour drive from Kununurra or Wyndham and about 1.5 hours to the Gibb River Road. Be sure your vehicle is set for dirt road with good tyres including spares and water for yourself. This is non mobile phone country so take care and travel to conditions. For info on the region, we are happy to share our knowledge or contact the Kununurra Visitors' Centre.

Sunnybrook farm offers a peaceful retreat near Bridgetown, perfect for nature lovers and horse enthusiasts. Stay in our cozy Blue Wren cabin, sleeping four with a queen bed and single bunk beds, or the Red Robin cabin, sleeping three comfortably with a queen bed and pull-out mattress. Both cabins feature kitchenettes and rustic bathroom's. For larger groups, a glamping tent is available. Or you could bring an extra caravan. Unwind on your veranda, taking in the scenic paddock views with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Explore the nature reserve across the road for bush walking, bird watching, and wildflower spotting.
Our offgrid cabins are solar powered, 12 volt appliances only, rainwater tanks and gas cooking. Chickens will eat vege and food scraps also have sheep wandering around the property.
We are situated 12 min from Bridgetown following the Blackwood river.
We have a separate area called" paddock view camp sites " only 3 camp sites available so everyone can have privacy - this area is for self sufficient campers only, there is potable water , sites have the morning sun and shade in the afternoon, our sheep wander around that area and horses might come up to say hello too .

Travel the old drover's track [now a scenic road - Parry Creek Road] to Hairy Dog's Fishing Camp and Lazy Dog campsite, located on the banks of the Ord River, home to the famous sportfish - barramundi. Tropical wildlife, lots of birdlife and crocodiles coexist here and you have river views, access to boat ramps, local attractions including a bird sanctuary. Set above highwater mark, the campsite sits safely on the riverbank with views of the historical landmark on the Bend of the Ord, House Roof Hill. Birdlife twitters about all day (and some through the night), while agile wallabies hop on by. Trees for shade and water for cooking/washing make for a comfortable campsite. A shared and well-maintained ablution block contains 2 showers and 2 flush toilets for all to use. You can enjoy an open fire at our large fire-pit. If you have your own boat, it can be launched and moored from the camp's boat ramp. No kayaks, canoes or floating-type watercraft are able to be used in this section of the river due to the large crocodiles that live here. A plunge pool is available for a 'cool off'. Our campgrounds are a good one hour drive from Kununurra or Wyndham and about 1.5 hours to the Gibb River Road. Be sure your vehicle is set for dirt road with good tyres including spares and water for yourself. This is non mobile phone country so take care and travel to conditions. Kim is an absolutely wonderful host, with a gorgeous property. There is no shortage of hospitality and good old fashioned country friendliness here. Kim is willing to share her time and knowledge to get you the best experience and value for money in the area. Feeding the goats and horses, walking across the road to the Blackwood River and Sunnyside nature reserve or just sitting on the deck and watching the world and the ducks go by, there are suitable options for everyone.
With picturesque morning mist and sunny afternoons, this was a gorgeous place to stop and you can’t imagine a host better than Kim.

Kim and Darren have built a little slice of heaven and are graciously sharing it with their guests. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect place to bring in the new year, we booked the cabin and had our caravan in the top paddock as we had my parents with us as well. The kids loved the space to play and Kim was kind enough to show them around the property and feed some of the animals. It is an incredibly tranquil setting and only a 12 min drive into Bridgetown for groceries, cafe and restaurants.
Key things about the cabin, it has everything you need but nothing you don’t - it’s not a hotel, it’s a place to escape from the craziness, disconnect (or reconnect) and unwind. There’s no 240v so you’re not blow drying your hair or charging your laptop and the tv screen is outside and it’s on the nature channel 24/7. There’s a good sized fridge, gas cooking inside and bbq hot plate outside. The shower with a view is a nice touch as well.
We would definitely stay again next time we are in WA 😊

What an incredible find! Our stay at the red robin cabin was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed. The cabin was beautifully set up — clean, cosy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Waking up to the peaceful farm surroundings was pure bliss. The views were stunning, the fresh air was rejuvenating, and the quiet was exactly what we were craving. We loved being able to slow down, switch off, and enjoy nature while still having the comfort of a well-appointed cabin.
The hosts were wonderful — friendly, responsive, and clearly passionate about sharing their slice of paradise. It’s obvious a lot of love and care has gone into this place.

We had all the necessities for a comfortable stay and being in the perfect spot for some Astrophotography with no light pollution. My 11 yr old son and I had a FANTASTIC weekend getaway to SunnyBrook Farm. It is safe to say this is our new favourite spot. The property is stunning - the countless hours of hard work that have invested into the place are obvious. It is close enough to Perth for one or two nights but there is also heaps to do if you plan to stay longer. There’s a reserve for walks nearby and you’re only about 15 mins out of town.
The cabins are equipped with everything you need including fresh eggs on arrival, condiments, oil & fresh butter in the kitchen, even mossie candle on the deck.
What makes this place exceptional is the level of care the hosts went to make our stay comfortable & immersive. Kim greeted us on arrival to talk us through everything. She checked in to make sure we were all good after a few massive storms came through on our first evening. She took the time to introduce us to all the animals & their babies (of which there were many!). We definitely picked the right time of year to go down. We were even offered an extra night to celebrate being their first guests at Red Robin - of course I couldn’t refuse.
We were left with a strong sense that the hosts aren’t just ‘trying’ to be good hosts…. they are genuinely kind, conscientious and compassionate people.
99% of me wants to strongly encourage everyone to take a trip down to SunnyBrook…but the selfish 1% wants to keep this little haven a secret for only those who will truly appreciate its value

If you want to connect with nature while being comfortable and warm during cold nights, this place is the place to be. It's a very cosy little house with everything we needed.
We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting on the verandah watching wildlife. From the property, we saw Emus, many birds like scarlet robins, red-tails, blue-wrens etc, and a couple of possums on our night walk.
The house is a short drive from two towns- Bridgetown and Balingup. We explored both towns and loved both.

Bluff Knoll house far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful house with Two bedrooms, a family room with an large sized smart tv, reverse cycle air conditioned. Kept the accomodation nice and snug and warm as it was a bit cold when we visited.
Well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee sugar and Milo provided. There is a Phillips coffee pod machine with pods provided.
Fridge had freshly laid eggs which tasted wonderful.
Washing machine in the laundry, BBQ outside in the patio. Fully fenced so our Daschi could roam free.
The goats were extremely friendly and looked forward to being fed.
Truly a home away from home.
You can spend days there without carrying anything but food supplies.

Weekend Trip to Echidna Springs Horticulture
My Husband and I took our dog to stay at Ed's place for an overnight stay. It was so quiet, the only noise was from birds and the wind rustling in the trees!
Ed maintains the property very well, everything is neat and in order. Ed even cooked our sausages for us on the BBQ!
The cabin is very nice, it would suit 4 people no problem. Be aware there are no amenities in the cabin, the kitchen and bathroom is in the main residence.

We walked into our country chalet and immediately felt relaxed. The host has done an excellent job of decorating the chalet, paying attention to detail. The main bed was very comfy and extra pillows, blankets and throw rugs available for extra warmth. Bed comes with electric blanket but not needed this time of year. Would be a lovely winters stay with the indoor fireplace. The farm animals were very friendly and eager to meet guests. Host provided food to feed the farm animals. Host is always around working the farm so available to guests if they need anything. Stirling house had fully enclosed fence that even our little Lahsa Apso dog couldn’t escape. Dog bowls, beds and toys provided. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us
