Nestled in between Beverley and Brookton, this tree farm offers 270 acres of peaceful wide open space for self-contained campers to rest up for a few days or more. Enjoy bushwalking through the trees whilst wildlife watching. There are trail walks close by for those wanting to exert themselves. Plenty of bird life for watching and listening to too. Romantic sunsets across the paddock looking over the grassy knoll. As the sun rises to one side and sets to the other, it's the perfect antidote to a stressful week, ideal for those wanting to get away from the city for some relaxing time in the country. There are two dams, a BBQ, and flat parking for off-road camper vans, and level land to pitch a tent by the shady trees to enjoy nights under the stars. The area is great for astrophotographers as the night sky is very dark, confirmed by many who have already taken the opportunity to use the property for astrophotography.

The camping area is very private, with no one for miles. We offer four sites in this wide open area, with plenty of space to spread out and find your own privacy.  Campers can relax under the tall trees, listen to the birds, walk amongst the trees, watch the wildlife, or just enjoy swinging in a hammock (bring your own) doing nothing but waiting for sunset. Alternatively, venture out to Beverly or Brookton Town Centres which are within 15-30 kilometres away.  Yenyening Lakes nearby for a day out canoeing or swimming. The area is level for pitching a tent and is also accessible by vehicles.  Campfires are permitted (when conditions are favourable, and no local fire bans are in play).  No facilities, so you must be fully self-contained with your own toilet, and we ask that you take all waste with you when you go, and no toilet paper to be left behind in the paddock. Dog friendly, but please keep them on a leash, and clean up after them as others will be staying after you so please ensure to keep the camping area from of dog poop!

Stay at the Westside Shack and enjoy a private and secluded location on the farm, with camp kitchen, dining table, lounge chairs, a spacious undercover area with gas Weber bbq, and outside cooking facilities, bathroom, outdoor hot shower and wood-fired hot tub (fire ban permitting) to enjoy under the stars.  Sleep in a sea container with one double bed provided (bring your own sheets) or outside under the stars with two outdoor beds included or pitch a tent of your own. Off-grid power, lights, and extras to make the country getaway easy.  Further details available upon request. There are plates and cutlery with cooking gear so no need to bring those types of things. Just food and drinks really the rest is there, please contact me if you want to know exactly what is on offer. Easy relaxing, bushwalking, wildlife watching. Great dark skies for the astrophotographer or star gazer Yenyening Lakes nearby (35kms) for a day outing to swim or canoe. Local history in Brookton or Beverley if interested. Dogs will need to be leashed or kept close to you for neighbouring livestock and kangaroos we do not permit them to run uncontrolled. This Shack is priced for four people extras are $20 per night permitting up to eight extra people.

Instructions were clear. Site was clean no nabours. Quiet and the only light was a full moon. A top place to chill out. Telstra signal.

Beautiful stay on campsite 5 for the long weekend. So private & tranquil in a huge space with lovely views. Camp fires to cook dinner on topped off a super relaxing weekend. Thanks Diane, we’ll be back.

We loved this spot. Perfect view of all the canola fields and very peaceful and secluded. Access was great . There was a fire pit and large picnic table that was an added bonus.

It was so nice having the place to ourselves. There was another couple camping but we couldn't see them from our site. Wouldn't have known they were if Diane hadnt mentioned it. Beautiful night skies. Firepit for winter. An easy drive from Perth and short distance from Beverley and Brookton if you wanted to venture out.

What a delightful surprise! The location was serene, with absolutely breathtaking views. Our host was incredibly welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic weekend and couldn't have asked for a better getaway!

Our time at this campsite was a truly memorable one. We were provided with necessities which was very thoughtful. If the windows with glasses would be much better especially at night. Because it’s really cold and windy in the hill even in Summer.

Seriously awesome. Didn't see anyone else. Very private and peaceful. Brookton only 10min drive. BBQ table, firewood, and fire pit. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic spot, very private and beautiful valley views - easy to find and communication with Diane was really clear. Very far from any main road so the silence in the evenings is incredible. Plenty of shade amongst the trees and a picnic table provided which was an added bonus which made things more comfortable. Would highly recommend this spot and will be back in the future!

Great directions to get there then Diane met us on arrival and showed us to our site. Awesome spot and loved watching the moon rise. Doggo had a great swim in the dam. You felt like you had the place to yourself, throw a ball for the dog, a log on the fire and no one to disturb.

Great location and great views across the fields. Plenty of flat space for tent setup. Loved having the stainless steel covered picnic table! Lots of birdsong and saw a little fox (I think) one night. Loads of stars. If you want to be away from devices, that’s a plus. No network coverage for Vodafone, which was just perfect for me. Just remember to D/L map and instructions for getting there before you leave home. Only downside was there were bull ants not too far away and 2 of the party got bitten one evening. Luckily they weren’t where camp was set up, but did need to keep an eye out. Diane was very responsive and helpful!

Our family loved having a camping space all to our own. We played cricket and archery went exploring and built a camp fire. Highly recommended this farm. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming.
