You can see the redtail cockatoos that visit us in December plus a nature walk to wander along (ask for details ) The Hipcamp is located away from the main house so is private. There is an artists studio on the property with the main woodfired salt glazing pottery kiln being fired once or twice a year. We welcome visitors to the studio -lots happening at Easter 2026(see photos) We often have our own eggs, honey, fruit and farm produce for sale. Something Different is a large machinery shed that has been converted into a comfortable holiday house with three bedrooms and one bathroom (extra toilet outside) and huge living spaces. You can really kick back here and relax! The walls and ceilings have been extensively insulated. There is a wood heater in the kitchen and another one in the main part of the Shed so it can be kept nice and cosy despite its size! You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Shed sleeps 10 in total (base price covers all 10), with 1 queen and 1 single bed in one room, 1 dbl bed and 2 single beds in another room, and 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in a third room. All linen, towels, etc. are provided. If you have more people, they are welcome to pitch a tent or park their caravan on the grounds around the shed. For a large group (say 10 plus) we charge an extra $20 (total) to cover the extra power you will need. We are fortunate to have the Warren National Park on our doorstep, and a commercial license to operate tours and camping in our National Parks. Graeme and I started WA Wilderness in 2014 as part of our 'Pemberton Discovery Tours' when the then 'Department of Conservation' realised that there were a lot of people who don't do camping due to a multitude of factors; these include: Time, Lack of Equipment, Newbie's who want to 'give it a go' before investing in expensive camping equipment and even baby moons, or camping with little children when every inch of space in the car is precious. So, we operate in the Warren National Park, it is some 8000Ha of National Park and stunningly beautiful Karri Forest, our campsites are located near the Warren River and are separate, so although you may see other campers you are not on top of each other. We set up everything for you, so all you have to do is turn up with your food and your family. To keep our pricing down we offer optional linen, so you can choose to bring your favourite doona. The sites are also unpowered however we offer 12V lighting and the option for a portable toilet. (There is a toilet on site as well.) There are steps leading into the river, the perfect place to paddle or dip your feet. We have a maximum of 8 sites on location here so there is plenty of space for privacy. We are only 15 minutes from the beautiful town of Pemberton, complete with wineries, galleries, restaurants, shopping and much more! You may also wish to join a tour or two - the Pemberton Tram runs daily, and we give you mates rates on our tours. We find our camps are perfect for busy people, who wish to try / go camping and value the opportunity to turn up to a complete camp, set up for you to enjoy from the start.

One of the best Glamping experiences I have ever had in WA so far! The Dome is beautiful, clean and cozy. It was also the perfect setup for two families travelling together — especially when one of the families (us, not our friends 😄) had zero camping experience. Everything was so easy and well-organised that we could just relax and enjoy, without any stress or guesswork. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed while still giving us privacy to enjoy the experience. It was clear a lot of care has gone into creating a relaxing and memorable environment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable outdoor escape!

Loved the accomodation, how it was dog friendly, the amazing breakfast, and of course the incredible hosts Phil and Trish. Phil and Trish go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful, and I would just sit and chat with them all day if I could.

Weekend Trip to Something Different Shedstay

Vivien is a lovely host and the property offers a unique camping experience. The lake is beautiful and well maintained, with kayaks available and a rich ecosystem around it. Even though the summer heat had dried up the grass, the kids still had an amazing time exploring the area (though it was a bit too cold for a swim!). The shed is a practical addition — a typical farm shed so understandably a little dusty, but it worked well with a shower, toilet, mattresses, and a very functional kitchen. Our group of more than 30 people (plus kids) had a fantastic time — adults played table tennis for hours, we enjoyed volleyball and badminton outside, and the teens loved the board games provided. One thing to note is that the site is beside the road. The trees give some cover, but we did hear a few loud cars drifting late at night during our stay. Not the host’s fault, but something to be aware of. Overall, if you’re not too fussed about a rustic farm-style setup and occasional road noise, this place is perfect for big groups. We’d happily come back in winter for a campfire. Thanks Vivien!

The Glamping Dome was amazing to stay at, with both Scott and Catherine being fantastic hosts. My partner and I loved reconnecting with nature through walking around the property, watching the kangaroo and magpie families, and relaxing by the dam. We had an amazing time.

Weekend Trip to Keladry Farm

Keladry Farm is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The room and the whole house are very clean, and the hosts are professional, friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast is delicious and a special experience by itself. The scrambled eggs made with eggs from Keladry Farm chickens are sensational. The two host dogs are endlessly sweet and accompanied us on our walks. We definitely will be back!
