We are fortunate to have the Warren National Park on our doorstep, and a commercial license to operate tours and camping in our National Parks. Graeme and I started WA Wilderness in 2014 as part of our 'Pemberton Discovery Tours' when the then 'Department of Conservation' realised that there were a lot of people who don't do camping due to a multitude of factors; these include: Time, Lack of Equipment, Newbie's who want to 'give it a go' before investing in expensive camping equipment and even baby moons, or camping with little children when every inch of space in the car is precious. So, we operate in the Warren National Park, it is some 8000Ha of National Park and stunningly beautiful Karri Forest, our campsites are located near the Warren River and are separate, so although you may see other campers you are not on top of each other. We set up everything for you, so all you have to do is turn up with your food and your family. To keep our pricing down we offer optional linen, so you can choose to bring your favourite doona. The sites are also unpowered however we offer 12V lighting and the option for a portable toilet. (There is a toilet on site as well.) There are steps leading into the river, the perfect place to paddle or dip your feet. We have a maximum of 8 sites on location here so there is plenty of space for privacy. We are only 15 minutes from the beautiful town of Pemberton, complete with wineries, galleries, restaurants, shopping and much more! You may also wish to join a tour or two - the Pemberton Tram runs daily, and we give you mates rates on our tours. We find our camps are perfect for busy people, who wish to try / go camping and value the opportunity to turn up to a complete camp, set up for you to enjoy from the start.

To celebrate the launch of our Tiny House, guests can enjoy 2 nights for the price of 1. Simply use promo code XW5XGSA5 when booking. Offer available for a limited time. Country Road Farm stay sits on our 260 acre regenerative farm in the heart of the Southern Forests, surrounded by tall karri trees, open paddocks and wide valley views. It is a peaceful place to slow down, breathe fresh air and enjoy the gentle rhythm of farm life. You will see our Wagyu cattle moving through the paddocks and often hear them too, so if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring some earplugs as the sound does carry on a still night. The off grid tiny house has LED strip lighting for when you need bright practical light, while a soft bedside lamp creates a relaxed evening atmosphere. Rechargeable lights are provided for when you turn the generator off at night. The tiny house has gas hot water, pure rainwater, a gas stove, a gas fridge and reverse cycle air conditioning powered by the generator. When the generator is off the space stays cosy but we do have a diesel heater for those extra cold nights that you can turn on and off and adjust the air temperature via the remote in bed. There is a 12volt charger to keep your phone topped up. We also provide hot water bottles for pre-warming the bed on chilly winter nights. Outside, a fire pit is available when seasonal rules allow and there is outdoor seating for morning coffee or sunset colours. On clear nights the sky is incredible. The Milky Way stretches overhead, satellites drift across the darkness and shooting stars are common. Our record so far is five in one night! You are close to Pemberton wineries, truffle farms, waterfalls, climbing trees and the Karri Forest Explorer Drive. A couple of popular annual events include the Karri Cup Mountain Bike Race in Northcliffe in April which goes around the back of our farm and Truffle Kerfuffle in Manjimup in June, along with the Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival in December, and this year the very first Bee Festival in Northcliffe on October 24. There are many more seasonal events across the region. Check the Northcliffe Visitors Centre for a full list of events and places to visit in the Southern Forests, including available local produce. Farm chats or a short tour may be available by request. This is a working farm so please follow signage, keep gates as you find them and do not approach or feed livestock. And apologies in advance for our very enthusiastic Maltese Shih Tzu who believes he is a real farm dog and sometimes lets the whole valley know it. This is a simple farm stay with only 1 bar on the Telstra network. We hope you enjoy the not so digital stay and enjoy sitting back and watching the grass grow!
