Mountain biking is a must in the area, with thousands of tracks available right outside the back door. If you have your own horse this can be bought along and we have paddocks available. There are so many gorgeous tracks around to ride on and beach riding at low tide and the right times is a bucket list item! The location itself is 17 acres and is next to the Painkallac creek in a peaceful bush setting. This location used to be a horse riding school which is now not running but has been converted to offer camping, caravan and RV parking. It’s only 1.5 km from the beach and the Otway national park is right on your doorstep. If you have bikes, horses or love to hike or run, it’s a perfect location, be ready to be spoilt as there are so many tracks on offer in our stunning local beach and bush land. The local town of aireys inlet has plenty to offer, a general store for all your essentials, loads of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and only 1 3/4hrs from Melbourne. No need to stress if you don’t want to be near anyone else, this is a small setting so it’s very private and only able to fit a few visitors at a time. Really nice secluded, private spot with a ripper toilet and friendly, likeable host. Chris' place is spacious and secluded with some interesting rustic metal antiques placed around the property. There's a couple of very solid tables for storing food stuff and doing your cooking & washing up so don't bother bringing a camp table like we did!

Wow! What a great little camp. We booked here to be close to Sovereign Hill for the kids. It was a lovely little camp for our group of two families. The grass was green, the sun was shining, there was plenty of shade and great facilities around the camp fire, like tables. We loved the rusty relics but a true highlight was the Powder Room. Thanks for having us Chris. We hope to be back one day. Don't hesitate in booking Penzance. One of our favourite campsites this trip.

Seahorse farm is a camper’s dream. Host Caroline has a heart of gold and made us feel at home. Surrounded by bush and a short drive to the beach, the location and surrounds is as good as it gets. Caroline’s gentle horses were great neighbours, an amazing experience camping alongside them. Already planning the next trip back!!!

Now Site 2 tucked away down the bottom of the property, plenty of room and privacy, close to the creek and overflow (very small) dam. Suited to those with 4x4 and just want piece and quite. Wel suited to familes, who like added privacy and extra shade.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property is beautiful and peaceful. No other campers in sight and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around. Our host was very hospitable and keen to make our stay comfortable. The kids got to feed the horses and we saw/heard all sorts of bird wildlife. The facilities are also excellent and have everything you need. Torquay was only 30 minutes drive, so convenient and we booked a table at the Blackmans brew pub for dinner one night.

Gorgeous site right by the lake! Beautiful scenery on a clear sunny day, have some patience with the fishing, they are in there jumping around, we didn't catch any but was great for relaxing during the long Cup weekend. Mark was a great host showing us both sites and giving us the freedom to set up camp wherever we wanted. We had fantastic weather until it rained, then it was a bit treacherous driving and towing out of the muddy paddock (take it slow and steady), best to stay when the weather is forecasted or certain to be dry

Lovely quiet spot, secluded but with a dam, and a winter running creek. Sound of sheep and magpies and little else. Mark let us use the tin shed and we slept in there instead of erecting a tent. Plenty of wood around for a fire. Not too distant from Meredith and the Brisbane Ranges.

Loved this camp. Very private, serene, peaceful. Can't fault it. Location was wonderful, it was close to Buninyong which has a wonderful pub, nice cafes and shops. We loved sitting by the creek and watching the Wrens, Honeyeaters, and Thornbills. We even saw a Tawny Frogmouth the last night. The sound of the frogs was lovely and we just felt so immersed in nature with how peaceful it was. We want to come back! The bathroom of course was also a very lovely perk!

Absolutely an amazing spot, quiet place to put the feet up, perfect spot for any self contained vans. Awesome views friendly farm animals that will come up to say hi and a great camp fire set up, I will be re booking to stay here
