Camping at Galea Ranch was the best. So much thought and care put into a beautiful space. Lots of play options for my 5yo plus feeding apples to the animals. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. We'll be back, it was so easy. Thanks Sharelle and Wayne!

Absolute gem of a spot. Incredibly private, well maintained, level spots in a quiet location. Spotless bathroom and shower available as well: both were much appreciated. Hosts were lovely and provided apples to feed the bull, cow and horses. We will 100% be back.

Weekend Trip to Seven Hills Tallarook

We stayed on a powered site in our motohome. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet. At night the stars were amazing with no light pollution. We failed to follow the directions. But a phone call to Taylan resolved our problem. New to Hip camp it was our fault. (Though two 78 year olds visiting from England are proud of our trip) This site is one we will treasure!

My family and I had a wonderful time camping Sharelle & Wayne's. The property is great and the campsites all very well thought out with solid firepits with seating, hammocks, and even great toilet and shower facilities. They are both wonderfully thoughtful hosts too, bringing some toys for our toddler, plenty of apples to feed the animals, and topping up the firewood. It's evident the effort they put in to making sure all their guests have a wonderful stay. Greatly appreciated, thank you :)

Very nice set-up and vibe. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

From the entrance to the 360 site is loose gravel and some steep hills, if towing you will definitely require a 4WD. Once at the site the views will blow you away, it is amazing. We will definitely be back.

Just a lovely spot. Great to be so close to the beach but still have peace and quiet away from there crowds. The dog loved the space and the farm animals. Great spot for a few days... We stayed longer than expected because it was so great

The spot was amazing! Just a few meters from the beach and different from the other campsites along the beach! It was really calm and quiet, and not busy at all. There was only one other camper van in the area, and plenty of space! We had a pit to set up a campfire (provided by owner). It is pet friendly! Damian was really friendly. We are definitely coming back!

The Kardella Park glamping spot was beautifully set up with absolutely everything you could need. Very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom setup was so squeaky clean I thought it seemed brand new. The pergola space was a great place for meals and had pretty good shade most of the day for the quite hot weekend we were there. The beach is not far to walk or bike, and is a good spot to hire stand up paddle boards, canoes etc. Damian and Alli were super helpful. Definitely recommend.

Seven Hills Tallarook

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we have now entered our Fire Danger Period for the 2024/2025 Summer Season. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property & family.

Magic Mountain

Nestled amongst the mountains just outside of the township of Whittlesea our 40-acre property sits above the clouds. This experience comes with sweeping views, a hidden waterfall, a clear campground, and plenty of wildlife. The camping area is accessible by 4WD only, otherwise, strap on a backpack and earn it! (800m walk/hike from where a non-4WD can park). The waterfall is reached by a single trail track from the campsite, and you do need to be an experienced hiker to get to the waterfall. Which is part of the appeal! We welcome self-contained campers, who bring their own toilet and take all waste with them. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy. Or choose to stay in our beautiful A-frame cabin, with plush bedding, cozy fire, and outdoor lounge. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins and very private. It has one king matress and two single mattresses that normally make up a couch to rest on.
