We have space in the large carpark for vans, motorhomes, or alternatively the horse paddock for tents and campers. Ample toilets available. Dogs permitted by advance request.
Guests are welcome to visit the Tea Room, open 10am – 5pm Wednesday through Sunday. Our daily menu contains a selection of delicious cakes, devonshire tea, toasted sandwiches, specialty pies and weekly specials and of course, tea and coffee. Breakfast is served all day.
Browse in the galleries or wander around the beautiful gardens which have trees more than 100 years old, some listed on the National Trust register. Meet our 2 Dromkeen alpacas Hannah and Lilly.
***Please note, we are a rubbish free campsite, so campers are asked to take their rubbish with them. Dromkeen has very clean toilets, but a reminder there are NO showers. Also all sites are unpowered, but upon request prior to arrival a powered spot may be available at an extra $10 a day. Please ring to verify this. During summer months because of fire restrictions we also remind campers there should be NO outside campfires.

We had a great time camping on Luke's property. The paddock where the campsites are are easily accessible for 2WD cars and have a nice view of surrounding paddocks with cows, birds and wallabies hanging around. It's nice that we can bring our dog too. Also only a 5 min drive into Cowes. Looking forward to coming back!

I had a great weekend camping here, even with the weather swinging from very hot to quite cold. It’s a fantastic location with beautiful views overlooking Mt Sugarloaf and Gisborne. Bernadette was a wonderful host and made everyone feel welcome. The facilities were clean and well maintained.
There were several families and groups staying over the weekend, but it never felt cramped — sites were well spaced and everyone had their own space. The art gallery and café were open, which was a real bonus. It was great to escape the 40-degree heat for a while and enjoy a quality coffee and a delicious vanilla slice.

Bernadette was warm, welcoming, and so easy to communicate with both before and during our visit. The food from the tea room was absolutely delicious and beautifully served. We loved camping at Green Gully - what a lovely part of the world! Luke’s hospitality was brilliant, he shared local insights and recs, and we loved trying out his beers. There was only 1 other group camping so we had so much space and there was lots of wildlife to spot. A real ‘at one with nature’ spot. Onsite toilet was great, much better than other campsites we’ve visited on our travels. Would highly recommend staying here!

Lovely location with a great host. You can enjoy a beer in the host's own small brewery. You can observe wallabies, geese and other animals. If you want, you can feed the farm's rooster. During our stay, there were also two extremely cute dogs. We really enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Trip to Dromkeen Macdeon Ranges
Bernadette was an amazing host and took the time to walk us around to find a spot that could meet our needs. The toilet facilities are very well maintained.
