The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. A great little private cottage located on the rear of the property with easy access to the forest walking trails. We enjoyed 3 nights of peace, serenity and the laughter of kookaburras. Our 4yo loved exploring and discovering native animals and bee hives nearby while our older teens loved the nightly outdoor and indoor fires and accompanying roasts and marshmallow s'mores. Kitchen was well equipped to handle family meal time and the indoor wood heater kept the cottage toasty all night. Recommended for anyone requiring the connection that stems from the disconnect of technology.

I had such an amazing getaway at this beautiful farm. The host and her mum were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home and their hospitality was truly exceptional. The van itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The views were absolutely stunning, and spending the evenings by the fireplace under the stars was pure magic. Weekend Trip to Mountain Flower Farm

We had a lovely weekend away at the Cozy Pozy! We stayed two nights but wish we had stayed longer. The van was perfect for two people and there were so many little conveniences in the van to make us feel right at home. The farm and the views were wonderful as well. We saw Rosellas, black cockatoos and gang-gang cockatoos flying over the farm daily, and were greeted by a pair of baby goats running towards us one morning which was beautiful. The farm is close to town so we enjoyed a couple of outings to the local pub for lunch and some games of pool, as well as a trip to St Andrew’s market which was less than 10 mins away. Tamara and family were so welcoming and helpful, thank you! We hope to visit again soon :)

We had a lovely two days at this hut. We walked directly from the hut to Lyonville and Trentham with lunch at Trentham, an excellent day out. The hut was clean, dry with plenty of wood, we were very warm. The indoors composting toilet was easy to use and odour free.

Our second stay at Paul's cabin, this time winter time. Cabin is cosy and we loved the fire place. We were allowed to take our little puppy that enjoyed stay in nature too. Beautiful and serenity.. place offer lot of to do - we walked some trails with historical values from Gold rush mining times. Cabin has everything that our family needed - beds, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and warm water.. 100% recommended for people who are looking for serenity, calmness and nature stay..

Our kids loved sitting by the fireplace, and watching the wallabys and kangaroos jump across the property. It felt very private - the hosts Kelly and Erin were lovely and welcoming! Weekend Trip to The Stables On Knox

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables on Knox! We came to take maternity photos and the property was perfect – beautiful scenery, a cute cozy house, and lots of photogenic spots inside and out. The fireplace made it extra relaxing too 😊 Some things to note: the BBQ and pizza oven in the barn were quite dirty so we didn’t use them, and the coffee machine was broken. Also, we were woken up early by a possum scratching on the roof – a true country experience, but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper! Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Weekend Trip to Lalgambook Retreat

We recently stayed in Vanessa the Vintage Van at the beautiful Lalgambook Retreat over a long weekend, and while it turned out to be the wettest weekend imaginable, we had a truly memorable experience. Perched on a picturesque property overlooking a serene dam, the van itself is absolutely charming—originally styled, incredibly comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need for a cozy stay. Despite the unexpected cold snap, our experience was warm and welcoming thanks to the wonderful hosts, who went above and beyond by providing extra blankets and a heater to keep us comfortable. Although the rain kept us indoors for most of the time - when we weren’t navigating Daylesford - we genuinely enjoyed the peaceful, snug atmosphere and left already planning our return. Next time, we’re looking forward to making the most of the property, hosting a fire pit, taking nature walks, and spotting the local wildlife. Vanessa is a little gem in a truly special setting. Highly recommend for anyone after a unique, restful retreat—rain or shine!

Weekend Trip to Springview Farm

We had a ball at Jo's hipcamp. It is such a unique and well set up camp, with so many extras provided, it was the easiest camping trip ever. We went with young kids (aged 2 - 8) and there were so many activities for them to do, from tennis, to feeding the animals, to swimming. The kids (and adults) loved the slippery slide, and watching the kids kayak in the evening whilst we sat by the fire pit in the evening was a highlight. I would 100% recommend and we'd love to come back.
