Such a lovely site for camping. Was reserved for Unpowered Site but still more than enough for me and my missus. Flat grass surface-level with super clean and tidy kitchen plus bathroom. Felt super comfortable and cosy. Only 3 minute walk distance to Long Jetty. Highly recommend for small group who prefers quiet and relaxed vibe!

Very spacious. We are on the No. 1 Campsite, next to the gate. A bit busy and noisy during the day because of the cars in and out of the gate and the rubbish bin cleaning at that moment next to our campsite. Otherwise, amenities clean, well looked after and the campsite is private.

We recently stayed at this block in our 2 swags annd an 4x4 gazebo with a side tent and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The location is fantastic—just an easy 8-minute walk to the beach—and the site itself is a private, bushy block that feels secluded and peaceful. One of the standout features was how well-equipped the site was. It came with a table, BBQ, toilet, bins, a kitchen sink, and even a chiminea, which made our camping experience extra comfortable. We felt a bit spoilt, actually! The added touches, like a porta-loo and even a couch, made it much more convenient than your standard campsite. A special highlight was the kindness of a neighbour across the road, who let our daughter visit his property to see a beautiful koala up close—such a memorable experience! Monica, the host, was fantastic—she was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to messages, making everything smooth and stress-free. This site is also in a prime location for exploring the area. It’s a great base for visiting Sandy Point Beach, Shallow Inlet, Walkerville, Venus Bay, and of course, Wilson’s Promontory. We highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking for a well-equipped, private, and peaceful spot to enjoy nature while still having some extra comforts. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an amazing stay at Monica’s campsite! The location is perfect – just a short 5-minute walk to a beautiful, dog-friendly surf beach, ideal for morning walks and swims. The grassy, semi-shaded area for camping offers a peaceful vibe, and though it’s unpowered, the clean public facilities are only a quick stroll away, open 24/7. I loved the rustic charm of the site and the friendly, laid-back atmosphere. The small coastal community nearby is charming, with a great general store and a wonderful local café that’s open from spring to winter. The BBQ and picnic table were a nice touch for evening meals, and the availability of wifi was a bonus for staying connected. This is an excellent spot for a summer holiday, offering a perfect balance of nature, convenience, and relaxation. I highly recommend Monica’s campsite for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

We loved Camping at long jetty Welshpool. All the facilities were clean and tidy. There are plenty of dogs but no mess. Everyone was really respectful. The owners we’re fantastic very friendly. If you ever run out of food you’ve always got the baked potato at the front gate. We will be back.

Hedley Gardens and Bush Camp is my oasis situated on four acres just minutes from the beach and the bush, and an easy 20min drive to either Foster or Yarram. Food-producing landscaped gardens with four separate self-contained living areas. Guests are welcome to pick their own salad and herbs and picnic in the gardens! Only seven minutes drive to a quiet beach, boating, fishing and the long jetty. The property is conveniently located within close proximity to Welshpool, Agnes falls, National parks, numerous rivers and a State forest. The assorted accommodation available includes a two bedroom cottage with kids room and cot set up, one King size bedroom with open fire place and two extra single beds with attached camp kitchen, and another King size bedroom with a kitchenette a king single and a trundle bed. It has an attached shower and toilet. There are also many camp sites available for tents, Vans and RV's, with a toilet for those guests in the cottage, the shed and campers. Power and camp kitchen facilities also available. Plenty of room to play cricket or have a get-together. Whole or part of the property including main residence can be rented to groups and functions are also welcome.

Situated in West Gippsland, Casa Cucina is a feast for the senses from the alpine majesty of the Baw Baw Plateau, the Bunyip State Forest, the lush green valleys, to the rivers and streams… there is always something to do in West Gippsland for the curious. Further exploration in the area may include Gumbuya World, Nangara Reserve, Noojee and Neerim South. The Tarago River backs onto our small yet spacious, open yet shaded space we would welcome you to. The river is ‘swimmable’ (at your own risk), a lovely spot to cool off on our warm summer days, or a mesmerising place to sit, watch, read, contemplate, draw or write. It awakens the creative juices to be in such beauty in nature. Some large old Mountain Ash remain along the river bank, with lots of new plantings. It is not uncommon to see an echidna, a variety of stunning birdlife, and on dusk, maybe a wombat family. As we only take one booking at a time you will enjoy exclusive use of this peaceful space. A maximum of 4 vans on River block and 2 on adjoining paddock, in one group. Our river block can hold up to 4 caravans (under 10 metres) and a couple of tents in one group (one booking). In addition, the upper adjoining block can accommodate 2 caravans. This is a single group occupancy site so you can enjoy the privacy of your group. If you wish to hook into our powered site, please add $10 per night, per van. All campers will also have access to our Casa Cucina gorgeous eclectic, quirky community space to sit in out of the weather. Please note: This is not an accommodation space. All Bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with extra blankets and pillows for comfort for our guests. Also a centrally located bathroom with shower and toilet. The downstairs living zone is spacious and an absolutely fantastic area for the kids to play or for those wanting some peace and quiet, complete with a large smart TV Adjoining this room is a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge, crockery, utensils, kettle, toaster, and coffee pod machine. This is perfect for a couple of families or couples sharing the house providing a fully self-contained area allowing the ultimate in privacy. It also has a laundry with a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, and ironing board. This property is truly unique, offering ocean views from the front of the property and then you step out the back into a tranquil bush setting. Hidden among the trees is an outside table entertainment area with a stunning swimming pool. Sea Paradise also offers reverse-cycle air conditioning/heating throughout. Plenty of parking with enough room in the driveway to park a boat and a number of cars. The double lock-up garage has been transformed into another entertainment area complete with a large pool table and table and chairs...Great area for the kids particularly those teenagers who love to have their own little space! But wait there is more.... A sauna is located in the garage to warm yourself up before jumping into to pool. Enjoy the colder months snuggled up in the warmth of the house soaking in the ever-changing moods of the ocean, watching for dolphins and whales. Soak in the spa bath and crawl into a warm bed. The only thing that changes in the colder months is our reduced prices. St Andrews Beach is a lovely quiet suburb with the convenience of having a superb cafe a 10 minute walk down Paradise drive along with a yoga and meditation retreat. Other close must visit places are a 5-minute drive to St Andrew's Brewery, and 10 minutes to Rye Hot Springs. 5 min walk you will also find access to the breathtaking ocean beach.
