2 nights at Whispering Gums

A beautiful and peaceful spot. Susan was a fantastic host, thoughtful, kind and responsive. I was even gifted some homemade chilli jam and eggs. I spent 2 nights here just cooking on the fire, watching the wildlife by the pond including a wide variety of bird life and a fox. The set up has everything you need- camp toilet, mud kitchen, table and chairs and even a hut to have shelter in the rain. Plenty of fallen kindling to be collected if needed. Will return to explore some of the walking tracks. So nice to be able to have a solo getaway and not have to share the campsite with anyone, but feel totally safe. Just a short drive into town. Highly recommend.

1 night at Millers Farm "The Hills are alive"

It was pure joy to wake up on Miller's farm. The rooster heralded dawn - better than any alarm clock. That inspired the chorus of birdsong; kookaburras, cockatoos, wattlebirds, magpies, currawongs. That in turn encouraged the sheep - they started their day bleating for their feathered friends to join them. Farmer Anne let the feathers free and mayhem reigned. Chooks, turkeys and the sole duck running around chatting with excitement at the new day. The goats and alpacas were pretty happy to say hi too. How lucky were we to be part of it. Highly recommend Miller's Camp - check in was easy. Communication great. Anne was lovely. Camp kitchen was a bonus. Great stay. Thankyou.

Great location, walking distance to the beach with public tennis/basketball court! Large open space perfect dogs. Would highly recommend!!

Get spot, super comfortable, hosts are very welcoming people although didn’t get the chance to properly meet them.. I sent a message and they were very kind. Will definitely be going back when I need a spot to camp on the island.

We had a lovely weekend away staying at Rivers Run. Lovely quiet grassed area, with fire pit fully loaded and ready to go! Michelle was great with communication, and our dog had a lovely time with their beautiful and friendly dog. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet spot to get away.

Weekend Trip to Berry's Beach Farm, Phillip Island

We camped on Wayne and Deb's farm over a busy long weekend on Phillip Island and it was wonderful to have such a quiet place to come back to, away from crowds. Close to Berry's beach for walks and rockpools, close to Phillip Island winery for drinks, food and music. A short drive to a local cafe and a great base for exploring the island. Wayne and Deb were friendly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Paddock was spacious and we had lots of space to spread out. The water tap close to our van was handy. A great stay and would recommend for a quiet getaway on the island.

Our stay at Miller’s farm had been nothing but wonderful! Kate and the whole family, especially Anne, were the best hosts! The hospitality, accommodation, and friendliness were top-notch. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sommerleigh! Gorgeous location that had everything we needed, nestled in nature and surrounded by so many birds. It felt intimate and private, perfect for a romantic weekend away. The wood stove was absolutely divine and rainy weather was no problem because it was so cosy rugged up indoors by the fire watching the rain through the big windows and hearing the rain on the tin roof. Jeff was lovely and made sure we knew everything we needed to know before leaving us to it. I highly recommend this special gem of a stay!

Millers Farm was an amazing experience for my son and I. A host of friendly farm animals that added a unique element to the stay. Anne, Kate and Peter were incredibly welcoming and keen to show us around their little patch of paradise. A very clean and well thought out kitchen made camping that bit easier. Would highly recommend.
