Gorgeous site on a beautiful property. The river and waterfalls make for great adventuring for the kids, and the swing is lovely too. This campsite is a cut above any we’ve seen, with great care taken to give people nothing short of a magical camping experience, would highly recommend!

We stayed at campsite 2 for my partners birthday, despite our extremely late arrival the communication between me and the host was constant and clear, he had no issues with us arriving past our previously discussed time. Upon arrival there was a beautiful set up with marshmallows and a roaster, a sign for my partners birthday and some flowers. We got to set up our tent under beautiful festoon lights strung above, and were also able to prepurchase some firewood to have the pit nice and toasty. We also added the feature of the outdoor cinema, which was a game changer! The host had a lot of movies preloaded onto the usb, and even asked if my partner had a favourite for her birthday. The nearby walks are simply stunning and the waterfall is a short walk around the corner from the campsite. Absolutely stunning location - just be prepared to drive on some loose gravel if you’re in a smaller car! Will absolutely be visiting ladybug campgrounds again! 11/10

What a beautiful place to camp!
We didn’t have a soul around else and the site was massive with chairs and table, fire pit and festoon lights. There was a couple of waterfalls near by so want to sleep with the sounds of running water. Thanks Peter.

We loved our stay at Lady Bug Camp.
What a uniquely beautiful setting, it’s paradise!
Nestled on a picturesque property packed with nature.
The waterfalls & cascading water course was stunning & peaceful and the birdlife was abundant.
The lovely young couple made us very welcome even though we arrived late without a booking.
They are both working very hard to establish this splendid property & we can’t recommend it enough.

Really nice hosts with excellent communication. We reached out with questions about a different site as we required a private site with access for our campervan. The hosts opened up the site early for us to stay, it wasn't quiet finished yet but they let us stay.
Hosts greeted us after we arrived and were friendly and polite, but kept things brief and left us to relax after a long drive. Very peaceful location next to the creek, flat ground and nice grassed area. Driveway in is good gravel, a few up and down hills but no dramas in our Toyota hiace commuter. We don't often stay at campgrounds as we like to camp privately with our dogs, this campground was very private and I would definitely recommend. There is wildlife around so if your dogs don't have a solid recall they would need to stay tethered, if they are well trained a wonderful space for the dogs to run around. We would definitely stay again.

Super love this campground! The site is amazing with stunning views and waterfalls just few steps away. Peter and Kim were incredibly welcoming and showed us around. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway.

Ladybug camp ground is a hidden gem ✨ private and flat sites, sheltered by wattle and gum tree, amazing waterfalls surrounded by rainforest terrain. Very clean compost toilet. The projector and movies were a bonus for the kids! Definitely a spot we'd camp at again.

We had the most magical stay at Ladybug Campgrounds. This valley is truly something special, and Peter made our entrance into it that much warmer. Even though we only stayed one night, it was easily the highlight of our weekend. Thank you for providing such a wonderful space to make beautiful memories. The sound of the stream and waterfall at night serenaded us to sleep, and we were happy to be where we were.

I contacted Peter and Kim after seeing a photo on their website of a tiny, rare blue mushroom called Pixie’s Parasol. I have been fungi spotting for almost 10 years without finding any so asked if I could visit their gorgeous piece of paradise for a day in the hope of seeing one. Peter was so very kind and helpful, greeting me (and my dog) on arrival, showing us the stunning forest and eventually leading us to a moss-covered fallen tree adorned with the tiny blue gems. It was exquisite being in the cool, green forest, soaking up the ancient vibes and serenity. Thank you Peter for your generosity and warm welcome.

We had a lovely stay at this quaint campsite. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of care into creating a welcoming space — from the tin of marshmallows and card games, to the fairy lights strung up around the site that gave it a magical feel in the evening.
The firewood bundle we purchased was generous (definitely good value), and it made for a great night around the campfire. The hosts checked in on us just enough to make sure we had what we needed without intruding — really appreciated that balance.
A perfect little spot to slow down, unwind, and enjoy nature with a few thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. Would definitely come back.

The unpowered site 7 was great. We virtually had the whole site to ourselves and the weather although cold was great. Close to Rocky Cape and Lanigans Winery which is well worth the visit.

This spot is absolutely stunning - Peter came down to give a bit of a run down on the property and was very helpful for whatever we needed.
We stayed at sight 2 but had a walk around and would recommend any of the sights as they all share the same beautiful backdrop.
The flowing streams were a nice ambiance and the camp fire with the hanging lights just tied it all together. 5 stars!

Had the best time camping at ladybug campsite, such a stunning little spot by the creek and even a little waterfall. So many magical little touches around the campsite clearly so much thought and effort has gone into making this place so special.
Big grassy campsites with plenty of shade that were so well maintained with big fireplaces, bins and soon to be a composting toilet aswell.
Definitely will be returning!

I was honestly surprised with how beautiful the camp ground is. I have done my fair share of hiking and camping around cradle and I’ve been lucky too see some pretty beautiful views and I have to say that if you want to go and experience what it’s like this is place to go. It really felt like my girlfriend and I were in the bush somewhere off the beaten path at cradle, the lights are a really nice touch to making it feel more comfortable (if your a bit scared of the dark like my partner😆) and I wish I had of gone for a swim in the waterfall as it looked beautiful , also the hospitality was was great thank you for showing us around the place and thank you for the marshmallows and bored games that you supplied to keep us busy. I will definitely be suggesting this to people for somewhere to go for a little holiday and I’m sure I’ll be back myself.

We had a wonderful stay at Ladybug campground! It was our first time camping with our 15 month old and was just what we were looking for. The river is beautiful and the mini adventures along to the waterfalls were perfect for our little man. The sites are level and private, with handy picnic benches and fire pits. We also made use of the fairy lights but appreciated you could turn them off to look at the stars. Kim and Peter were very friendly hosts, they even provided games and marshmallows to roast and the whole process was super easy. Would highly recommend for a peaceful and beautiful slice of Northwest Tasmania.

Great location to explore the surrounding area. Lush gardens with spaced out sites. Lovely to walk from the park out to the ocean at low tide. Dated but well functioning amenities including washers and dryers. Bring 20 cent and dollar coins for showers, washers and dryers.
