The location is central and close to a number of activities and events. The area is known for amazing bushwalking, kayaking and all types of nature based activities. We are also close to annual shows and events such as Taste of Huon and the Cygnet Folk Festival. Lots of local markets, music venues and Farmgate sales, each weekend.
Try the delicious local fruit, vegetables and seafood/ meat....add some fresh herbs and seasonal produce from the abundant organic garden. Onsite we have kayaks and bikes for campers to use(deposit required).
Located in Ranelagh, 2 mins from Huonville, 45 mins from Hobart, 20 mins from Cygnet, 10 mins from Franklin.
Your hosts offer a beautiful paddock and yard in the amazing Huon Valley. We are a small farm with animals and gardens on the edge of residential convenience.
Pets are welcome as are campfires in the designated fire pit.

Our cottage is located at the back of our 1 acre property still far enough away so privacy is not an issue, being able to enjoy the peace and quiet of our beautiful country town while listening to the birds chirp away.
One highlight of our cottage is the loft bed allowing a fully functioning kitchen, room for a lounge & dinning table as well as a neat bathroom.
Only a couple minutes walk to the local cafe and bakeries and a short drive to local attractions.
We are happy for guests to walk around the property but to stay to the back of the property and the cottage driveway and to not walk around the main house or the dog yard.
Please note that within Tasmania mobile phone coverage is scattered when not with Telstra and sometimes Optus.
Due to being on tank water we do not offer guests laundry facilities but there are some at Port Arthur.
We do not have a fire on offer for guests to use.

The bushman's hut is full of country charm and is the perfect spot to gather in the evening for dinner or a game of cards and a nightcap.

On request our guests can join us to meet the animals;
Our adorable fluffy Highland cows love a good brush and are always jostling for attention, some of them are also keen on treats of apple slices.
Our trio of Suri Alpacas are a wonderful blend of goofy and graceful. They will come and say hello and Thunder gives cute 'eskimo kisses'
Penelope Jane (PJ) and Duncan are our gorgeous mini donkeys, they are endless fun watching them play and wrestle. They both love a good scratch and cuddles and plenty of human company.
Our 3 mini goats Huckleberry, Dudley and Elfie are cheeky little chappies and what they lack in size, they make up for in character. They all like a good head scratch and pat
Wildlife Encounters:
We also share our 100 acre hobby farm with an array of Tasmanian native wildlife including wallabies, pademelons, possums, echidnas, bandicoots, wombats, quolls and even Tassie Devils. Wedge tail eagles and hawks soar the dams, native hens (turbo chooks!) rush around the paddocks and if you are lucky you may spot a tawny frogmouth sitting on the fence watching for his prey at night.
Nature enthusiasts and photographers will find plenty of opportunities to observe and capture the unique flora and fauna of Tasmania.

Our paradise is located on Bruny Island, with forest mountain views to the west stretching to the south and east across Adventure Bay to Tasman Island and Peninsula.
Camp is just a short walk to Quiet Corner and Two Tree Point, two iconic spots on the Adventure Bay coastline. Fluted Cape and this whole area are spectacular for nature lovers. And you'll be sharing the space with resident wallabies and native birdlife.
This little block has plenty of sun and a shady fern glade for hammocks, flat spots for camping or vans, with a BBQ and fire pit. There is also a camp kitchen located in a cosy north-facing cabin with a lounge. We have a newly built toilet and shower block. Pet's are welcome, but we ask they be kept on a lead - see rules. All summed up to be the perfect peaceful getaway on Bruny island.
Adventure Bay shop is 1 km away. A well stocked general store selling firewood bundles and fuel.

The Bunkhouse at Camp Infinite

Located an hours drive North West of Hobart near the quaint little town of Ouse (pronounced - ooze) and set on the pristine Derwent River. Like so many of the towns on the Derwent River, this region is very popular with bushwalkers, fishing enthusiasts, and mountain bike riders.
Overlooking the "pot-belly" of the Derwent River, This place is a fishing and kayaking heaven . Have a swim in summer, kayak or go for an adventure on your mountain bike. There are two kayaks and two SUPs you are welcome to use. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat.
The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs.
The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river!
