Greens Beach Caravan Park is a great holiday destination backing on to a wonderful 9 hole golf course and parallel to the beach just a minutes walk across the road. We have a facilities block that contains, toilets, showers and washing machines. There’s a shop down the road that has everything you need. The Narawntapu National Park is a lovely walk from the caravan park. It takes you along the foreshore all the way to Bakers Beach. Plenty of wineries around the area that are worth checking out too!

Located only 8 km from the famous Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails, Branxholm Lodge offers accommodation for 1, 2, or up to 12 people in the Bunk House. The Bunk House features a comfortable and modern lounge and dining area with inside cooking facilities and a flat-screen TV to relive your daily rides on the big screen. WIFI was available free of charge. If you want to relax outside there is an outdoor entertaining and BBQ area with an additional fridge, plus a large firepit and kids' play area with a handball court marked out. Laundry with washer and dryer, 3 toilets, and 2 shower facilities. Sleeping 12 people in bunks across two rooms is ideal for couples, families, or groups. For mountain bike enthusiasts there is a bike wash-down area and secure storage. The 8km Branxholm to Derby Trail is a great way to get warmed up for the day. The trail starts from the oval behind the property. Or if you want to just get there fast there are many transportation options straight to the trails. When you return from the day’s activities you can fuel up at the Branxholm IGA visit one of the many restaurants in the area or in summer take a dip in the Branxholm public swimming pool. Or fire up the fire pit for a night under the stars toasting marshmallows.

It was such a comfortable, well kept and lovely campsite. We got held up in the day so could only check in late but Doug was so great and helped us check in with ease. The toilets were the best we’ve experienced on this island. So clean and the showers were really warm it made camping so hassle free and enjoyable. A PLACE YOU MUST STAY WHEN TRAVELLING THE EAST COAST OF TASSIE

Scamander Sanctuary Caravan park is well set out, toilet and free shower facilities are clean and modern. Great safe playground for kids. Able to ride bicycles around the park. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach, but beach was raging with big and fast waves, being not safe for swimming. Short walk to local cafes. Friendly staff. I definitely do not recommend the use of Hipcamp to book any camping or caravan bookings. Hipcamp is a total rip off!! Much better to book your own accommodation.

Very well serviced site, whose host accommodated us in a welcoming and straightforward way. Private bathrooms (toilet/sink/shower) very clean. Remember to bring laundry powder if planning to do some washing, which we unfortunately forgot!

The park is very clean and well organised. The facilities are of a high standard. We went on a long weekend but still found the park very quiet. If you head to this region visit the Winifred Curtis REserve - the bird life is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay.
