We have a 40ft shipping container now on site, this has books and games you are welcome to use during your stay. It also has jams, sauces and honey for sale. Property is located a 5 minutes' drive out of Derby. You can cross the river and then you are on the bike track that will take you to Derby or Branxholm, this is a beautiful walking track or carry your bike across river then ride.
Quiet location perfect place to stay for a few nights. Awesome quiet spot to get away. Property is on a working dairy/beef farm.
Wood available for sale at camp to use in fire pits for just $10 a tub.
We have just put in a private dump point for guest convince.
By arrangement if time permits I can arrange for a cost of $20 per person a look at our dairy during milking.

A beautiful bush acreage located a five minute amble from Beaumaris Beach. The eastern side has a cleared area with little private nooks to tuck yourself into. Please note it is a bush block, not the Hilton ;) but it is peaceful and safe.
Ocean Drive is asphalt to the front gate, then it is firm, level, all weather access to the camping sites. There is a rough map of the property in the photos indicating the location of the various sites. I generally like to welcome people at thee gate if I am about but I'm not always here. Don't hesitate to contact me by phone or message.
There is clean and well maintained public toilets two hundred metres away.
Plenty of kindling is available and camp fires allowed when https://www.fire.tas.gov.au/fire-danger-rating/ is not a total ban. Keep under a metre, ensure the ground is cleared around and attend until extinguished.
Pets are welcome, especially dogs 👍
There are private walking trails on the property.
St Helens is under fifteen minutes away, Bay of Fires 25 minutes. Scamander 5 minutes. The famous St Helens bike trails are under ten minutes drive or accessible on your bike via the back trails. Ride direct to the trail heads! There is fantastic nine hole golf course at Scamander.

This is a magical spot, we were spoiled with a magnificent view from our camp site watching the tide coming in and out. Sarah and Mark were fantastic hosts and the kids were very friendly and joined our kids in some games. We bought some firewood from Mark and had a sensational fire. We would definitely recommend this site!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and taken care of. The space is a mix of bushy or open with the ability to choose where best suits you to set up. We followed the hosts suggestion to camp in an open area away from a large group for more peace and quiet.
My friend and I booked two sites and had our 4 dogs with us who were able to have them off lead and they were much happier and relaxed than when they have to be secured. They also had the kids come and play with them which they absolutely loved.
We really enjoyed having the kids show us the estuary and crabs. We really felt like we were an extension of the family during our stay and would happily stay here solo.
Looking forward to staying here again soon!

A great sheltered spot. Lovely peaceful part of Tassie. Advise trailers to approach the site via Derby township.
Do not take back road as Google takes you the wrong way and if you have a larger van it will get you stuck .

The camp grounds are rough. The local public toilets are a short drive away. The beach is across the road. Shelly Point is worth exploring. The fresh air is free and Tasmanian east coast is wild. God bless Australia 🇦🇺 Amen!

Amazing outlook from a spacious grassy area to a beautiful river with lovely bird life around the gum trees. After a tentative drive through the bush we were greeted by the friendly host and chose from various flat sites to be near a picturesque communal firepit complete with log seating. We loved the fishing from the river and time around the fire and would highly recommend this site to anyone. A short drive to the beach and other sites and friendly hosts.

We loved our stay at Farm on Franklin, such a beautiful place we were greeted by Sarah at the property and were allowed to pick our own grassy spot by the river.
This place is perfect for families and you can bring your pet, fire pots provided and short walks by the river add to the serenity.
this place is only 10 minutes from Port Sorell and close to the national park.
Easy to follow directions 5 minutes on a gravel road to get to the site, some telstra coverage with semi level sites that only took some minor leveling of our 21 ft van.
we would love stay again and would highly recommend to quiet couples travelling with their pets.
