The property is a 5 minute walk into the Historic town of Franklin, where there are are pubs and restaurants. We have 2 flat sites and 3 slight gradient sites, all are far apart. All sites accessible by 2wd depending on weather. There are no facilities, so the site is suitable for self contained campers only, There is dump for toilet water. The site also has drinking water water available free. Due to our children and our Alpaca on site pets must be kept on a leash. Visiting children are welcome to help our kids feed Alpaca, just ask. The property has an orchard of cherry plums, apples, pears, lemons and apricots. There are great walks and sites to see in the local area. We loved our stay at Prossers Ridge. Perfect for our van. Fabulous views and close to Richmond. We used the place as a base for 6 nights to explore Richmond Port Arthur Maria Island wine tasting at Pooley Winery and golf at the Coal Valley Golf Course. Great and easy to follow instructions from Paul. Highly recommend this place for all types of camping. 10/10 (a little windy but not much you can do about the weather and you are on a ridge)

We stayed at this camp and would recommend it highly. We towed our 18ft caravan to the top of the hill. The ground was firm and we had a lovely sea view. Nigel gave us some of his local knowledge and our 3 nights spent at this camp were very quiet.

Lauren’s place makes a great base to explore the local area. Set on a hill with great views over the hills to the sea making for wonderful sunrise and sunsets . A nice level patch by the “ bungalow “ with a firepit and generous wood sully made for an easy camp. We didn’t avail of the power option with access to the bungalow but it did look cozy and would be a great option if the weather is poor. Lauren was helpful and a pleasure to deal with . Highly Recommended.

True magic! I would die for the views this place delivers. The views of Carlton River on the horizon are second to none. There were some friendly goats roaming around that we could even pet. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful on arrival, and we had the whole place to ourselves with more than enough privacy. Absolutely loved it! Highly Recommended👍🏻

We very much enjoyed staying here with our campervan before returning to Hobart. A peaceful and quiet place, amazing 360 views and lots of birdlife! Many great spots to choose from on flat ground and a clean toilet facility.
