For the rest of the description, please see below Deep Glen is a beautiful, quiet 5 acre property at Eaglehawk Neck, gateway to the stunning Tasman Peninsula. Hiking, surfing, fishing, swimming, diving are all at your doorstep, not to mention the famous Three Capes Track and the Port Arthur Historic site just a short drive away. If you want to see the coast shown in these photos, both the Tasman Island Cruise and Wild Ocean Tasmania offer excellent trips Bookings are for two adults; children under 16 are free. It may be possible for larger groups to occupy one site - please enquire before booking. As the site is teeming with wildlife including the barred bandicoot, we don't allow dogs. There are no facilities on the block apart from a long drop dunny (byo paper) and a small supply of non-potable water so you will need to be self-sufficient though there are good meals at the nearby Lufra Hotel and excellent coffee just up the road at the legendary Cubed Coffee van. Very private valley nestled between two mountainous sandstone ranges. 3.5 kilometers from Colebrook, via Yarlington road. The property in total size is 37 hectares half of which is gently undulating grassland slopes. These slopes lead to the banks of the beautiful Iles Creek which runs nearly all year round. The western range across the creek includes numerous caves within comfortable walking distance. The highest cave provides magnificent views to the East coast. Camping options include non-designated sites either side of the creek under the huge black-wood trees, restricted to 4-wheel drive vehicles during winter and spring months, with a secluded site with year-round access for all vehicles. At the entrance sits the first of the designated sites, the rest are accessed via the meandering road down 300 or so meters to the camping ground entrance for the other two sites. The last 500-700 meters of Yarlington road leading to the entrance is quite steep. Some two wheel drive vehicles towing large vans have found this challenging, while others haven't. The two main camping areas now have a 'bush loo' in each site. if you wish to use these please use your own paper. Also, now for camper convenience the whole area has access to the campers' lounge and resource shelter. It contains First Aid and snake bite first aid kits. Water is available here. A circular driveway surrounds the house with a driveway extension. I hope to build an outside kitchen at the nearby shed, but for now campers need to be self-contained for their cooking and washing up, or else take the short walk to Kingston Beach and the excellent cafes and restaurants there for a bite to eat. Food scraps must go in the compost bin on site. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a fire when conditions allow it. Longer pieces of firewood are provided free of charge and kindling can easily be collected from around. (Please don't use the shorter pieces of cut firewood as they are for my wood heater). You could enjoy a wood fired bush bath at extra charge, conditions allowing, with advance notice. Early evening is the best time to enjoy a bush bath and star gazing with set up in the afternoon. Wildlife on the property includes birds, wallabies, possums, echidnas and bandicoots. You are welcome to bring your small dog but please ensure it's under control at all times. Wildlife are at risk if your dog is a hunter and roams free. Tyndall Beach (the Kingston dog beach) down the road is where your furry friends can have a run. Walk them to the beach on a lead and let them off there. I have an older Jack Russell who is afraid of big dogs, sorry. This is the perfect place to experience a little bush luxury before taking off on your Tassie adventures. I very much look forward to meeting you!

Welcome to The Bush Circus. This is where I love to play and I welcome you here. All the deets you may need are listed here so read careful. Of course you can contact me if you can't work something out. You arrive here at the bottom corner of the property on Slab Rd where there is a place to park cars around several large gum trees. There is a very short walk through bush on manicured trails to one of three dedicated camp sites all of which is sign posted. There is also one RV spot at the car park. Toilet is located within a short walk from each campsite. All sights are reasonably flat and they all have a campfire. Please feel free to pick up twigs and breakable sticks to create a fire. If you want firewood it is $1 per piece and you can put this into the tin at where the firewood is collected. RV Spot- This is marked out as a section on the car park area. There may be some other cars near you but these are for the campers. Holy Tree Camp- The first sign takes you to this camp. You will see the tree with the burnt out base. Suitable for a small to medium tent. Tall Tree Camp- Second sign leads to here. It is adjacent to the tallest tree on the property. Small to medium tent. Octopus Tree Camp- Look up. You will see how it gets its name. Small to medium tent. This is a small property and if you get lost just follow the tracks you will find the camp you have booked. There are two toilets. Toilet one is for number 2's and toilet 2 is for number 1's. Just to make it confusing. All signposted but message me if you can't work it out. The circus area is not available for campers. Female only! Stay in a bohemian traditional Mongolian Ger (yurt) on a 70 acre property. Situated on a hill two minutes drive to spectacular beaches and walking tracks. Private yet safely contained within the property. Ideal for single travelling female if any age who wishes to explore this beautiful area. Visit the stunning Maria Island, I am 20 minutes away to the Triabunna ferry. Visit Freycinet and the Tasman Peninsula. Hobart is 75 minutes away, airport 50 minutes. East Coast Tasmania..nowhere better! Enjoy lots of activities in the area and come back to your serene surroundings. The COTU Yurt is basic and rustic glamping. It's cosy, has minimal facilities but you can boil a kettle and microwave a meal or cook outside on a camping stove (home cooked meals $20 booked in advance) Main bathroom facilities in my house twice daily at a time arranged but there's a caravan type loo in the yurt. There's an armchair, a cosy wood stove, and a single bed. Microwave, tea and coffee. Filtered rainwater. Bedding provided. I'm a respectable distance away but your privacy is as important to you as it is to me. Park on-site and you have a private entrance. There are two silly labradors who may visit you outside so you do need to be a dog person. If not.. sorry the yurt is not for you. Please note this is a female only property.

Welcome to The Bush Circus. This is where I love to play and I welcome you here. All the deets you may need are listed here so read careful. Of course you can contact me if you can't work something out. You arrive here at the bottom corner of the property on Slab Rd where there is a place to park cars around several large gum trees. There is a very short walk through bush on manicured trails to one of three dedicated camp sites all of which is sign posted. There is also one RV spot at the car park. Toilet is located within a short walk from each campsite. All sights are reasonably flat and they all have a campfire. Please feel free to pick up twigs and breakable sticks to create a fire. If you want firewood it is $1 per piece and you can put this into the tin at where the firewood is collected. RV Spot- This is marked out as a section on the car park area. There may be some other cars near you but these are for the campers. Holy Tree Camp- The first sign takes you to this camp. You will see the tree with the burnt out base. Suitable for a small to medium tent. Tall Tree Camp- Second sign leads to here. It is adjacent to the tallest tree on the property. Small to medium tent. Octopus Tree Camp- Look up. You will see how it gets its name. Small to medium tent. This is a small property and if you get lost just follow the tracks you will find the camp you have booked. There are two toilets. Toilet one is for number 2's and toilet 2 is for number 1's. Just to make it confusing. All signposted but message me if you can't work it out. The circus area is not available for campers. Please contact me if this area interests you.

Weekend Trip to Sea Cliff Lookout Bus

Breathtaking! I watched a whale breach multiple times through the binoculars from the deck, had a relaxing soak in the outdoor fire bath, wandered the beautiful forest that surrounds the property, and enjoyed all of the wildlife even a white goshawk and pademelons with joeys! The bus is so comfy, cosy, the fire inside made sure of that. My second, visit and many more to come. A truly beautiful escape.

This space was so wonderfully private and peaceful. The hobbit hut really separates this space from others, and makes camping here even more special, and it’s helpful for keeping things dry overnight if needed. It’s a great location on the island, too. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

What a Fantastic Camping Spot so close to Hobart . We had 4 vans set up on flat ground near a clean toilet with great views and peace and quiet , what more could you ask for ! Heaven. Paul and Sarah are great hosts and the property is so well looked after . 30 minutes from home but could be in the of nowhere . We will definitely come back again

Great glamping experience in a lovely location. Miles and his family have done a fabulous job with converting the bus into a wonderful place to stay with supporting kitchen and bathroom amenities. The fire was prepared and ready to light with wood ready for night two. With ample options to relax outside or inside along with a super comfy bed. it was a seamless off grid trip. Can recommend the fire bath and thanks for the bottle of wine.

We loved staying at Prossers Ridge , the near 360 views , sunsets and sunrises were wonderful. It was pretty stormy when we stayed so didn’t light a fire but enjoyed being close to wineries and Richmond for rainy day lunches. The place is well thought out with fireplaces spread out to give privacy if it’s busy. There was only one other camper when we visited so felt very secluded. We hope to return in the warmer weather.

Absolutely stunning! Would 100% come back here again. Lots of area to choose from with amazing views and some firewood provided if you want a fire up there. Unfortunately our set up wasn’t well thought out for the wind warnings (roof top tent) so we had to leave but the owner was so kind to arrange a refund almost instantly for us. There was a caravan up there at the same time which seemed to have no issues at all.

Very beautiful and tranquil place, my granddaughter and I were very lucky to have the site to ourselves, there were various beautiful cleared sites to stay in. We enjoyed the walk to the cave, sitting by the campfire , and a wonderfull drop dunny. Plenty of wallabys to be seen on the property, and we also spotted an echidna. Firections yo the property were easy to follow
