It's a little like McDonald's Farm, an array of birds and animals.
There's an orchard, hothouse and a Raspberry patch which may be my favourite spot when they're fruiting.
It really is an amazing lifestyle, peaceful, relaxing and rewarding.

The camping site is located in a beautiful location overlooking the lavender fields, in bloom december/january, with the ever-changing Mt Roland in the background.
On days with cold southerly winds, alternative campingsites are available on the farm. Please contact us to find out.
Includes use flushing toilet, hot shower and laundry (external access). Approx. 300m from the campsite. We are pet friendly.
We've got room for up to 5 separate bookings.
Due to shortage of personnel, we can no longer offer the farm tours. Hope this will change coming season 2024/25. But hipcampers are welcome to have a walk on the farm.
We are working together with other organic certified farmers. They lease parts of our land to grow vegetables. Hipcampers are welcome to have a walk around their crops as well.
Big news: we have started to build a tearoom with possibilities to organise herbal workshops and give education about growing and using medicinal herbs. . It will also have a shop and space to enjoy light refreshments, organic coffee, chocolate, juice and herbal tea.

I started living here permanently seven years ago, most of the property's out dwellings and the Cabin is built from recycled, reclaimed materials or been handed down.
I am fully off the grid and in the process of trying to become self-sufficient.
The water is pumped from a springfed dam and mostly gravity-ed.
It's a little like McDonald's Farm, an array of birds and animals.
There's an orchard, hothouse and a Raspberry patch which may be my favourite spot when they're fruiting.
It really is an amazing lifestyle, peaceful, relaxing and rewarding.

This idyllic riverside campground is set amongst gums, backwoods and wattles on a mostly flat and grassy area fenced off separately on a working farm. The hipcamp information you are sent is incorrect. You DO NEED A CODE for the access gate. Message owners while you have internet coverage to obtain the code. The rustic shower/toilet block has a double hot water shower and flushing toilet - much appreciated after camping off grid with long drop toilets 😀. Bring your own toilet paper. The WIFI was not working, but that didn't worry us too much. The campground has fire pits for camp fires, but you must bring your own wood. We enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Had a great time camping here!
It has a calm and peaceful atmosphere, which made the whole experience very relaxing.
I expected the toilets to be pretty dirty, but they were actually quite clean for portable toilets, and the smell was well managed.
The dishwashing area is quite small, and the dish soap wasn’t always available, so I’d recommend bringing your own or doing the dishes after you get back.
The staff were very friendly and made our weekend even better.
I’d definitely come back!

Camp-site #2 at Peter and Kim's ladybug Camp ground was perfect for our little getaway. Alot of time and effort has been put into these Camp-sites to make sure its the ultimate relaxing camp. The outdoor movie is a must!!! Everywhere you looked there was something magical, the split of bushland one side and rainforest the other has something gor every nature lover.. a dip in the falls is also a must!! Peter was an amazing host showing us what there is on offer and sharing his knowledge.

Adored our stay at Ladybug, and seriously could not recommend it enough! Such a beautiful site set between the creek line and forest - Peter and Kim have clearly put a lot of love into the site. If you’re looking for a getaway into nature with some wonderful extras (fire pits, fairy lights, outdoor cinema, waterfalls!) then this is the one for you. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Tasmania ☺️

On Arrival late arvo we saw all the festoon lights on entry.
The farm has a big beautiful function centre right in the middle it was nice to walk around and check out the venue.
We were the only RV van in lot so had the place to ourselves
Views were awesome of the Dial ranges and powered site was great.
They also have a nice toilet next to work kitchen near driveway

Place was clean and tidy during the couple of days I stayed here. The bathroom facilities were good enough for camping, kitchen/bbq area was nice, and it’s nested in a comfy little area about 45 minutes away from Cradle Mountain. Trying to map out my trip and had a problem with the WiFi of course as you do when camping but Dale and Wendy (sorry I might have forgot her name but I think that’s it) were quick to get it resolved so I could have some entertainment and shelter from the rainy weather. Would recommend for sure!

The location next to the river made it feel very relaxing. We were tent camping. The smaller shower/toilet blocks around the park, which were very well maintained, rather than a large amenities block, made the stay very comfortable. For a tourist park, the sites were a comfortable size rather than feeling like you are too close to your neighbours. Great location to visit the attractions in NW Tasmania. Also only a few minutes from town made it easy to pick up supplies. Greg, the host, was friendly and helpful.

Long weekend, was a nice quiet spot to camp. Loved seeing all the animals and the sunflowers were beautiful.
My only complaint was during the sunflower festival, the people attending the festival all parked in where the campers were, blocking everyone in. Would definitely stay here again outside of an event.
