Unfortunately we do not have toilet facilities on the property.
It's within 20 minutes of Hobart, within 2 km of Bonnorong wild life park and 1 km from motor racing circuit. Close to the picturesque town of Richmond a colonial town established in early 1800s.
Dog friendly but must be controlled as we have many native animals such as galahs, native hens, ducks, rosella's, echidnas.
We grow our own vegetables, have a vast array of fruit trees and variety of berries and free range eggs.
Guest's must have their own toilet and shower facilities on board.

The property is a 5 minute walk into the Historic town of Franklin, where there are are pubs and restaurants.
We have 2 flat sites and 3 slight gradient sites, all are far apart. All sites accessible by 2wd depending on weather.
There are no facilities, so the site is suitable for self contained campers only,
There is dump for toilet water. The site also has drinking water water available free.
Due to our children and our Alpaca on site pets must be kept on a leash.
Visiting children are welcome to help our kids feed Alpaca, just ask.

We grow alot of our own fruits and veggies which you will get opportunity to see and taste when camping on our property.
We have a large fire pit, and a little private one, that you’re welcome to enjoy for cooking, or just for relaxing. We can provide fire wood for an additional fee.

This was our first ever Hipcamp stay and it was the perfect experience. The property is absolutely stunning. The camp site was very flat with lovely green grass and surrounds, a creek, a swing, a large picnic table, fire pit and dog friendly. Kathryn is a gorgeous human - so kind, warm and friendly. She told us everything we needed to know, provided fire wood with fire lighters and matches, as well as delivered a warm jar of homemade jam that made Sunday breakfast extra special. We didn’t want to leave and my boys are already asking when we can go back. Thank you so much for having us Kathryn and Alex and for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

A wonderful private Hipcamp, where you will be the only campers present. It was lovely hearing the little creek next to us flowing and to see the wallabies and blue wrens that came to visit us. Jenni and Mark are very friendly hosts and they have a well kept area. The location is ideal with a very scenic drive to Hobart. The Hipcamp is in walking distance to Longley International Hotel, which hosts numerous musicians throughout the year. The hotel has great atmosphere. Thanks again Jenni and Mark for a wonderful week that we spent on your property.

This was a lovely little spot .. the host was friendly .. saw some local wildlife (the jack rabbits are huge) so many birds and a lovely view of mountains.

Kath and Alex have created a truly wonderful site. We loved our 2 night camp. Super peaceful and private, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves across the road. Enough room for the dog and toddler to have a good play and we loved walking through and picking the last of the berries! Kath and Alex were lovely and really accommodating. They’ve taken great care an ensured there’s really easy access to the beach too.
We’re already planning to come back with friends!

If your looking for quiet weekend getaway to just chill by a creek, kick back and get away from it all. This is the spot you’re looking for! We loved this spot and will be returning for sure! Driveway is a little steep, something to keep in mind if you have a large heavy van but we loved it ! Great spot not too far from home. Will be back!

We stayed with group of campers. The views were beautiful across road from fruit farm to the distant mountains. Rob and Lisa were really lovely, very accommodating , we had open fire with access to extra wood. Close to Hobart and historic Richmond.

The camping was neat and tidy with plenty of room for 8 people with 4 camp spots.
The night sky was simply beautiful as we gazed the stars, satellites and ISS while the camp fire roared. Thank you for sharing your land

We had a wonderful stay with Kath & Alex – one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Beforehand, we received detailed information, which made it easy to find the farm without any trouble. Kath welcomed us with a jar of homemade jam (so delicious and perfect for breakfast the next morning) and showed us our camping spot.
The paddock is very spacious and set in a beautifully peaceful natural environment. Our kids absolutely loved the swing and the small adventure trail down to the beach. In the evening, we were able to use the cosy fire pit and picnic area for dinner.
The next day there were no new guests arriving, so we were able to stay longer and enjoy a relaxed start to the day. We would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately we already had another place booked that we couldn’t cancel.
We can highly recommend Woodleigh – the perfect place to stay on Bruny Island – and we’re very grateful for the lovely time we spent there.

Great little spot amongst the orchard. Very helpful host. Easy distance to Franklin. Plenty of provided chocks to help get your van wherever you want it. Would recommend.
