Serenity is nestled quietly amongst 42 acres of peppermint gum scrub sheltered by the ranges west of Tarlee. Here you will find spacious camping spots, room to explore or relax, peaceful starry nights, quiet country roads for walking or pushbike riding with spectacular views of the ranges and the valley as well as kangaroos, kookaburras, possums and more native wildlife. Children love to ride their push bikes down the hills and through the tracks and explore here, it's perfect for outdoor imagination and bundles of energy. Campers have made cubbies in the trees, tyre swings and set up hammocks for lazy afternoons or a swing. Pets are also very happy here and love to come camping. Bush camping at its best with firewood available to purchase on arrival, $25 for a large container and fire drums are provided as well as a clean long drop toilet for your convenience. We are a Poll Merino sheep stud and a wheat/barley cropping farm at Emu Downs in the Mid North of SA. We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy. Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING. There is a flushing external toilet and a bush shower (ie: a shower bag, provided). The room with the open fire can be utilised as a kitchen/living area. We've provided crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettles and a camp oven. There is running cold rainwater into the sink. Cooking can be done on the open fire, or use the small camp gas cookers. There is also a gas BBQ in the outdoor room. If you are really brave, try your hand at camp oven cooking in the campfire. There is no power, only lighting provided from a small solar panel/battery. Extra guests welcome in tents, swags or vans adjacent to the cottage. To ensure only one group of campers at a time, THE COTTAGE HAS TO BE BOOKED FIRST, then book the extra campers through the additional campsites listing. Eckert's Old Place is within an easy drive to the Clare Valley wine regions and historic Robertstown, Burra and Eudunda. Campfires welcome when not in fireban season. You can order a wheelbarrow load for $30, or bring your own. Dogs are permitted, but please understand, we are a sheep stud and need to ensure no disturbance from dogs. Seven Sisters is perched on the Skilly Hills, on the western side of the Clare Valley. Overlooking the Blyth Plains above Kybunga, the views are nothing short of stunning. Nearly every evening brings fabulous sunsets. Ideal for family stays or just a quiet spot to chill out. Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail. Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters, they will also ferry you to wineries in the area. Seven Sisters is a hilly grassland with wooded areas, creeks and rocky outcrops to explore, within our boundary’s Our sites on the property are easily accessed. 3 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits. Please don’t enter the fenced area around the house or go outside our boundary’s.

Avondale is a working family farm located perfectly between both the beautiful Clare Valley and picturesque Barossa. Located approximately 11 kms from Riverton and an hour north of Adelaide. Our campground consists of 6 designated van sites with a central fire pit. Individual fire buckets and wood can be provided at an extra charge ($25). Our camping sites are located in a picturesque tree lined gully. A precious slice of untouched beauty. Please don’t help yourself to our trees (no chainsaws). As we are a working farm, with sheep and alpacas surrounding the campsite, dogs must remain on lead at all times. It is also dog owners responsibility to cleanup after their pets. Please also remain on designated tracks to walk along. Views of sunsets from the top of the hill are breathtaking. Please also always leave gates as you find them. The local council district provides cafes, amazing pub food (our personal favourite, The Tarlee Hotel), bakeries and push bike tracks. Not to mention wineries. Generators are welcome, but please be respectful of fellow campers. No motorbikes to be ridden on property, but push bikes welcome. There is currently no toilet or potable water available.
