We are located just off the Horrocks Highway on the way to the Clare Valley amongst 42 acres of peppermint gum scrub sheltered by the ranges west of Tarlee. Here you will find lovely spread out camping spots with plenty of space to explore, quiet country roads for walking or riding with spectacular views of the ranges and valley as well as Kangaroos, Kookaburras and more native wildlife. Bush camping at its best. Firewood available to purchase on arrival, $25 for a large container and fire drums are provided. NO CHAINSAWS A beautiful peaceful spot with plenty of space for caravans, campers, tents and swags. We have a flock of sheep, Crystal our horse who loves attention and a pat as well as chooks and eggs to pick up, children love to ride their push bikes down the hills and through the tracks. Our scrub is perfect for outdoor imagination and bundles of energy. Campers have made cubbies in the trees, tyre swings and set up hammocks for lazy afternoons or a swing. Pick a site that suits you best, set up camp, light a fire and sit back and relax. Pet friendly. Long drop toilet available.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times please. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater to large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Please supply your own wood. Strictly no chainsaws. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. We are a Poll Merino sheep stud and a wheat/barley cropping farm at Emu Downs in the Mid North of SA. We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy. Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). Bring your own bedding. There is a flushing external toilet and a bush shower (ie: a shower bag, provided). The room with the open fire can be utilised as a kitchen/living area. We've provided crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettles and a camp oven. There is running cold rainwater into the sink. Cooking can be done on the open fire, or use the small camp gas cookers. There is also a gas BBQ with side burner in the open end room. If you are really brave, try your hand at camp oven cooking in the campfire. There is no power, only lighting provided from a small solar panel/battery. Extra guests welcome in tents, swags or vans adjacent to the cottage. To ensure only one group of campers at a time, THE COTTAGE HAS TO BE BOOKED FIRST, then book the extra campers through the additional campsites listing. Talk to me about your needs. Campfires welcome when not in fireban season. You are welcome to bring your own FIREWOOD, or I can supply for $25 a wheelbarrow load. BOOK THIS AS AN EXTRA. Dogs are permitted, but please understand, we are a sheep stud and need to ensure no disturbance from dogs. Please advise if you intend to bring your dog.

Burra Creek Camping in Bright is an incredibly beautiful, rustic 5000-acre property, situated 25km North of Robertstown, just over 2 hours from Adelaide. It's suited to those with 4x4 or higher clearance vehicles, and off-road campers/caravans and tents. The camping sites here are very private, and provide large flat areas to set up. All have beautiful surroundings and views. The land here is spectacular. From morning light accompanied by birdsong, to days spent exploring the creek and the bush, to stargazing and toasting marshmallows by night, the land here offers the perfect antidote to modern-day stresses. There is (wonderfully) limited phone service here, meaning it's the perfect place for a digital detox! Two of our campsites have very basic outback long drop toilets (Wombat Flat and Creek Site), but for all other sites, campers need to be fully self-contained. It's you and nature. Therefore we ask that you please ensure the place is left as or better than you found it. All rubbish and waste to be taken with you. Important Information to know before booking: Check-in must be before 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please book for the following day instead. Plenty of fallen timber around you are welcome to collect for firewood, however, strictly no chainsaws or cutting down of trees. And strictly no motorbikes, firearms, or rally driving on the property. Pets are allowed, as long as they are controlled.

Just a short drive of 30 minutes to the town of Burra you can enjoy the Passport Key and see the rich heritage of the copper mining era. Jamestown is 25 minutes drive where you can explore the bundaleer forest or see the tesla battery.
