Traditional, ancestral territory of the Boandik First Nations people. We are situated on a quiet country road. This camp site is a fenced two-acre paddock surrounded on the east, south and west sides with revegetation of local native trees, shrubs and grasses.
This area is a fabulous star gazing location with a clear and un-obstructed horizon. The historical Centenary Tower and Crater Lakes can be seen from the campsite.
Campfires and firewood available. Firewood available on request ($10/bag at 10kg includes kindling). Pets welcome but we request they're on lead for safety of your pet.
Bryton Wood campsite is only 7min drive to the heart of Mt Gambier, 20min to the coast and beaches, and 30min to the Glenelg River in western Victoria.

Our property is located in Canuda, the terrain is hilly with several clear, flat spots good for camping. The entire 33 acres is available for you to explore on a nature walk.
Any clear area within the boundary is available to camp in but a site needs to be booked and I will suggest an appropriate location.
Being a declared scrub block it is undisturbed and snakes are present but if you leave them alone they will mind their own business.
Small fires are permitted, only where a fire ring exists and out of fire ban season. Check listing details for more information. Gas fires and BBQ are not permitted during total fireban. More appropriate instructions are provided the day prior to booking in.
The Canunda National Park is only a 4km drive from the property and has plenty of stunning beaches and beautiful walks you can enjoy. It is also a popular fishing spot and has some great 4WD tracks to explore.

We have 80 acres of farm, approximately 15 minutes from town. Our campsites are located in a paddock on our farm, perfect for off grid self contained campers. Access to campsites is Via Brown Road, not Caroline Road. Please see directions once booking is made.
We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums.
Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat!
We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach.
One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). Our sites are all located in a back paddock, it's quiet and peaceful. We have sites available to cater for RVs, vans and tents.
Must be self-contained (no facilities provided, must dispose of waste at approved dumpsites in town), take your rubbish with you; dogs are welcome if they are friendly and well behaved.

The main house on property is listed as a popular holiday accommodation house, sleeping 6 guests. We also have a glamping tent on property for seperate hire to the house.
Our Camp site area for fully self sufficient campers is available in the paddoch area away from the main house block. We aim to ensure the privavy of the house guests by not entering the house block.

What a wonderful place! So peaceful, the landscape seems to absorb noise. We fully enjoyed the natural bush, observing several echidnas, rabbits, signs of wombats and listening to a chorus of different birds during our stay. We saw the 2 resident wedge tail eagles, so majestic. From the back perimeter of the property we had a stunning view of the coastline and we could hear the crashing surf from our campsite.
Martin was pleasant, helpful and very easy to get along with.
We hope to return to this tranquil gem of a place ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Pine Ridge. We were only meant to stay for a night but decided to book another one. Were able to leave the van and go explore Mount Gambier and all its beauty. Owners were so friendly, they invited us up to meet and feed there miniature goats and we also got to see their incredible collection of birds 😍 and not to forget the haybales that kept the kids entertained for hours. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back if ever in the area again.

We enjoyed our stay at Pine Ridge. There were a couple of caravans parked in the paddock when we arrived but the sites are quite spaced apart so we couldn't hear any noise. The kids liked saying hello to the Scottish cow in the next paddock. Our site was level and we could drive straight in.

We enjoyed camping on the farm with views of the paddocks with cows grazing. Highland cow was adorable. Close to town and public toilets are a short drive away in town of you prefer a flushing toilet rather than porta loo. Very large sites. Host was very responsive and helpfuul with communication. You are given clear instructions about how to find the property and left to yourselves. Will definitely stay there again!

The site could have done with a mow and there were quite afew Jack jumper ants around. Bin onsite for cans only. The sign for Pine Ridge has fallen off the gate so just go slow otherwise you will miss the entry like us!

Such a special place to stay. The sites are big and beautifully spaced with great privacy, and the hay bales make it feel really thoughtful and peaceful. There was loads of room for the kids to ride their bikes and just be kids. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, inviting our kids up to feed the goats and cuddle the rabbits, which was a real highlight for them. It’s also a great base, with plenty to see and do nearby and everything close by. We loved our time here so much that we extended our stay. Truly grateful for the experience.

Loved our little two night stay at pine Ridge ❤️ perfect location for exploring umpherston sink-hole and the other tourist attractions. Natasha and her family were exceptionally welcoming but also left us to ourselves. Our last day Natasha asked if we'd like to go feed her farm animals which my kids loved 😍

We had a wonderful stay at the Coastal Wedge! The location is superb! Beautiful views back to farmland & a short walk across the road to be on the beach with limitless walking opportunities! There was 4 of us, 1 campervan & 1 towed vintage caravan & we had the site to ourselves which was ideal! The local community are friendly, welcoming & even helped secure some awnings for us when we were out in high winds! Kym is a great host! Communication was easy & she even offered us fresh plums from her garden! The activities in the local precinct are unprecedented! Such a fabulous camp! Thank you Kym!

Canunda National Park

Southern Ocean Drive
The region’s most rewarding road trip runs all the way from nearby Mount Gambier, past Carpenter Rocks, and north along the Limestone Coast. Check into one of the beachside campgrounds at Beachport Conservation Park, camp by the lakes around Robe, or continue north all the way to the beaches and wetlands of Coorong National Park.

An hour’s drive inland from Carpenter Rocks and the scenery changes from sandy shores to vine-clad hills. When to go
Summer (December through February) is the best time to enjoy the Limestone Coast beaches, and the coastal roads and resorts fill up quickly over the summer holidays. Alternatively, winter is the prime season for bird-watching along the coast, and the coastal wetlands are even more impressive thanks to the seasonal rainfall.
