Located in Meandarra on the Brigalow Creek, this property offers Creekside Camping at it's finest. The sites are spacious and quiet and we often get stunning sunsets. This is the perfect spot to get back to nature, relax, and throw a line in.
Enjoy a paddle down the creek and check out the beautiful rare water lilies or spot some of the many native birds nesting. You may be lucky enough to spot some Koalas in their natural habitat too. The creek is also popular for fishing so you might be keen to drop a line and try your luck. Nothing beats freshly caught fish over a campfire!
Speaking of campfires, we have a fire pit available and a good supply of firewood for campers to enjoy. There is a portable toilet available for campers to use and a bin provided for your rubbish. Don't forget to look up at the sky in the evenings and see a stunning star-filled sky.
The local shops and pub are all within easy reach for basic supplies or a counter meal. There are also some interesting historical stops in Meandurra, including the Anzac Memorial, and the iconic 'Me and Durra' statue - be sure to ask a local about it's story!

Set on 35 acres on the banks of Charley Creek, it has a beautiful bush land setting adjacent to the creek. A truly tranquil experience.
Recently rebranded the name to Charleys Creek Campgrounds as it is more fitting, as there is no clover, not much of a hill, and not in America (Ranch). This will also tie in with our other entities - Charleys Creek Beef and Charleys Creek Brewing.
We have a number of projects on the go and planned for the Charleys Creek entities to make every stay a unique and authentic experience. "Not just a campgrounds, its the experience". You are welcome to visit us, get to know us, and be part of our journey.
This campground offers toilets, showers, access to potable water, and power hook ups. Open fire pits, and fire wood available. It is a dog friendly property.
The story of Clover Hill Ranch-
In 2019 our livestock enterprise was struggling with the ongoing drought. Water was getting very low and we were buying hay from Victoria.
One day while checking stock on our grazing property Bradys (adjacent to Clover Hill Ranch) we looked across the near dry creek and said to each other - if we are going to endure this drought we need to do something different.
So we were able to acquire Clover Hill Ranch which was then being run by the CMCA under a lease agreement to the then owners. Then Covid struck and the CMCA left Clover Hill Ranch.
So we took it on ourselves and it has been a journey managing our four farming blocks Riverleigh; Coleridge; The Shanti and Bradys as well as Clover Hill Ranch.
Fast forward and it is now April 2021 we absolutely love it;
enjoy chatting with Campers about our story and we have even organised a Farm Tour route through all of our properties. The feedback has been amazing.
We are continuously doing improvements to Clover Hill Ranch with many new Powered Sites with town water and new campsites right on the creek. And everyone loves it when we bring out our trailer mounted meat smoker to put on a smoked Wagyu feast!
Campers can purchase our Wagyu and Grassfed Angus beef to try while camping and can even buy some to take home.
Activities available at Charleys Creek Campgrounds, Chinchilla:
include camping; fishing; kayaking; motorbike riding; bird watching
and bush walking.
There is accessibility for RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Pull through bays available. Camping in tents is allowed. It is walking distance to Chinchilla town centre and Lions playground. Farm tours available upon request. Bookings preferable in advance to avoid disappointment.

Tincurra, once a lambing paddock for the old Wieambilla Homestead continues to be a working farm set on 211 acres. Located in the middle of Kogan, Chinchilla, Tara and Condamine.
Set up camp anywhere you wish on our 211 acre property either with the cattle or away from them. For swimming, we have 3 dams to choose from; and a creek which meanders through the back corner of the property; some very heavy wooded areas or more grassy areas.
Come to the main house for a coffee, sit down and share a yarn or two around a camp fire. Fishing and yabbying permitted on a catch and release basis. Outdoor movies, or have a game of darts. Bushwalking and birdwatching.

251109 - Being fully self-contained we chose a 'non-powered site' adjacent to the creek located away from all the powered sites to which there appeared to be plenty. Privacy is guaranteed with very easy level access for large rigs (we have a 24foot van plus a LC200) and we still had heaps of room to spare. Whilst we could only 'just' see our neighbours through all the trees of this well maintained property, in the far distance, we could not hear a thing.
There are some amazing and very clean amenities. Great showers, toilets and laundry with a great family owned and operated private distillery on the property up at big shed that also accommodates saturday night entertainment and a cookout, worth the visit.
Located not far from the centre of the Chinchilla township that is fully serviced with all the essential 'go to's for grocery, hardware, pubs etc etc you would not be short of finding what you are looking for.
Don't forget to visit the Large Watermellon' slice so you can take your photo. It's a must do.

What a wonderful part of the world. Beautiful spot. It was near the road; however, the town is pretty sleepy, so there was not much traffic. Just the odd truck. Certainly was not enough to worry us at all. Wonderful host.

Nice spot, lots of space, and very quiet. Had the place to ourselves. Cows are friendly. HIghlights were the dam for kayaking and a muddy creek for the kids to play in. Hosts were lovely.

Lovely property to camp on! There was plenty of space to put up our tents, shade from trees, firewood to pick from, and very kind hosts. We went for a kyack and swim in their swimming hole. It was a good spot to get into a green space and relax.

Lovely bush camp and right by the river. Denise, the host was super friendly and welcoming. We had the place to ourselves until the last night, was so very relaxing and private. Free firewood to top the weekend off 🙌 Unfortunately the museum in Meandarra was closed for Easter. Thanks, Denise, for a lovely weekend.

My Father and I had a great weekend in the bush. Camping here, we had plenty of space to spread out and a beautiful view of the waterhole. Colin was very friendly and helpful and it was nice to meet Chuck and Rocky, his dogs. The toilet and shower block was very clean and he also has ice when you need to top up the esky. Highly recommend a visit and we will be back.

We loved camping on Julia's land. Bush walks, swimming in the dam and sitting by the fire. This was out best bush camp ever, middle of nowhere so much quiet. 8 days of peace and quiet was amazing. The fact that we only shared the space with the cows was just what we needed.
