Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Located in Meandarra on the Brigalow Creek, this property offers Creekside Camping at it's finest. The sites are spacious and quiet and we often get stunning sunsets. This is the perfect spot to get back to nature, relax, and throw a line in. Enjoy a paddle down the creek and check out the beautiful rare water lilies or spot some of the many native birds nesting. You may be lucky enough to spot some Koalas in their natural habitat too. The creek is also popular for fishing so you might be keen to drop a line and try your luck. Nothing beats freshly caught fish over a campfire! Speaking of campfires, we have a fire pit available and a good supply of firewood for campers to enjoy. There is a portable toilet available for campers to use and a bin provided for your rubbish. Don't forget to look up at the sky in the evenings and see a stunning star-filled sky. The local shops and pub are all within easy reach for basic supplies or a counter meal. There are also some interesting historical stops in Meandurra, including the Anzac Memorial, and the iconic 'Me and Durra' statue - be sure to ask a local about it's story!Located in Meandarra on the Brigalow Creek, this property offers Creekside Camping at it's finest. Nice clean camp. Denise is lovely. Got a few yellowbelly and lost a few lures. Loved watching the trucks and their loads. Will go back.

Just a great place right beside Brigalow Creek 1k south of Meandarra. We really enjoyed this place, some truck noise but nothing to worry about. Looks great to throw in a yabbie net.

Perfect pit stop for our trip out west. Lovely host and great flat site with plenty of room for the kelpies to run around in after a long drive.

A peaceful, off-grid NYE getaway

Absolutely loved this cute little spot, and Denise was a very welcoming host. We arrived on New Years Eve & as hoped, it was very quiet for us for our 2 nights, as we were the only ones there and it felt very secluded. Although we experienced torrential rain on NYE, the site we chose was great because there was no water retention and it was completely dry outside when we woke up. Very easy access from the road to the site, and an ample supply of pre-cut firewood made it easy to use our fire pit. We enjoyed visits from Denise's two rescue dogs, who were super friendly, and loved the bird-life at the riverside. A great off-grid get-away for us. Thanks for sharing Denise!
