Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a small family owned and operated campground on the shores of Beautiful lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, SEQLD. We are conveniently located only 2km from the Cunningham Hwy and are set in a quiet bush location surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

We had such a wonderful stay at this glamping site! It was the perfect little getaway for me, my partner, and our dog. The tent was beautifully set up with thoughtful touches that made it feel special. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved being able to sit on the bed and watch the storm come in over the dam. The property itself was peaceful and private, with plenty of space for our dog to explore safely, which was a huge plus. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided some fresh produce. It felt like the best mix of camping and comfort—we got to enjoy the fresh air and starry nights but still had the luxuries of a proper bed, hot shower, and a few creature comforts. Would definitely recommend to couples (and dog owners!) looking for a relaxing escape. Also, when they say all you need to bring is an Esky with your food, that really is it! Everything is there. Amazing!

Well maintained campsite and powered cabins with bunks. Great facilities; kitchen, hot showers and fire pits/firewood available on site. Very accessible from Brisbane, Ipswich or Gold Coast. Nice wineries and cafes within half an hour drive. Thanks for a great stay.

3 nights at Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat

We stayed in a 12 bed cabin with access to amenities block and camp kitchen. Perfect to keep out of 2 degree winter and still enjoy a campfire each night with our kids. Kangaroos every morning and afternoon to watch chew on the grass. Family time, no screen time....no internet. Great place to unwind. Dog friendly on a leash. We loved the serenity.

2 nights at Duchess Farm (Cabin + Tents/Vans)

We had an amazing time. The animals were so friendly and visits from the dogs Spud and Willow were loved by my son. Very private and immaculate. The cabin has every thing you need! We had a group with some of us in tents. There was plenty of room. The kids loved feeding and playing with the animals. The views was amazing!! We will be back

Weekend Trip to Duchess Farm (Cabin + Tents/Vans)

It was great, a well equipped cabin and good facilities. It was a bonus that Damen offered for the kids to ride the ponies! All the animals were friendly and provided hours of entertainment. We would definitely book again! Thanks again Damen & Heidi!
