Escape the City and Reconnect Nestled on a working bee farm, our well insulated Off-Grid Tiny Home Stay offers a peaceful retreat. Sip a drink on your private deck as bees return to their hives, soak in the rolling countryside, and unwind in a cozy, self-sufficient space. Enjoy fresh honey, off-grid living, a firepit under the stars, and walks in the National Park. Perfect for nature lovers seeking a unique, eco-friendly escape. We include ingredients for a hot breaky for the first night of your booking. Firewood is included. The tiny house is incredibly well insulated so doesn't have the usual heat issues. Our property is 12 acres surrounded by a gum lined creek with no neighbours in sight. We have a number of paddocks for our 2 cows and 1 paddock full of bee hives. The tiny house is in it's own fenced paddock. The fencing is for cattle and is not a dog fence if you are hoping to have your dog off leash. If you are travelling with your horse we have a paddock with water that is suitable. Send us a PM if this is something you are interested in. If you have a larger party, we can accommodate a caravan or other tents. Tidy pets are welcome with their own BYO bed and should be on-leash around the property. Some things to do within walking distance - Walk around our access road to the creek crossing on the opposite side of the paddock. - Check the weir for our platypus. - You are surrounded by incredible wildlife so be on the lookout for rainbow parrots, king parrots, black, pink and white cockatoos, kookaburras, echidnas, wallabies and yabbies in the creeks. - Walk across the weir crossing and up the access road hill to the top of the macadamia nut farm and into the Gympie National Park.

We are a working cattle farm with wide-open valleys and beautiful hills and ridges that beckon explorers. The peace and quiet here will fill your soul. Guests are welcome to walk the property or fish in one of the farm dams. Swimming and paddling are perfect on a hot day, or simply relax and watch wedge-tailed eagles soaring overhead and shy whiptailed wallabies grazing nearby. If you’re observant, you might even spot a koala dozing in a tree. Our accommodation is a quaint old shearer’s shack — The Shack — lovingly refurbished and now featuring indoor amenities including a kitchenette, shower, and flush toilet. It comfortably sleeps 4–6 people, with extra camp beds available for larger groups or two families holidaying together. The open-plan space features polished hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, and a cozy fireplace perfect for chilly winter nights. Outside, there’s a firepit with firewood provided. There’s no electricity at The Shack, but solar lights, a solar-powered fridge, gas hot water, a gas BBQ, and a small gas stove ensure all the essentials are covered. Mobile reception is patchy — we encourage guests to put their phones aside, unwind, and let the outside world drift away while you reconnect with nature. Dogs are welcome but must be secured at all times. There’s a dog-proof fence around The Shack, but it is the guests’ responsibility to ensure pets remain within the fenced area or on a lead when walking on the property.

A beautiful unique experience, farm feel with fresh air, paddocks and creek surrounds this place attracts wildlife you miss inthe city from echidnas to tawny frog mouths. Being in the country the nights sky was so much brighter too. The accommodation is in excellent condition, clean and functional with all the comforts from home.

Highly recommend booking. We just needed to get away for the night ! The fitout and bed is so wonderful and comfortable! Best shower as well ! Star gazing and early night was the best part !
