Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.

We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

Bushywood is a excellent hipcamp. Bushy was so welcoming and assisted with anything we required. The sites are very well maintained, and the toilet blocks very clean.
There is enough room to spread out and not feel like campers are on top of each other.
The lake is beautiful with complimentary kayaks for use. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

What a fantastic weekend we have just had! The weather was abysmal all weekend however it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits Our group camp was full of laughter chatting catching up guitar playing singing and generally relaxing. Bushy and Emma are the most fantastic hosts and went over and above to ensure we all were have a wonderful stay at their property. This was our second time out there and certainly won’t be our last. We were only planning on staying a couple of nights but due to circumstances beyond our control ended up being here five nights. The location is fabulous, close to so many shops, there are choices of pools, the amenities are very well maintained. It’s quiet considering the volume of patrons. We stayed in a motor home site then a cabin. We swam, we used the BBQ’s, we ate in the bistro, used the laundry all of which were great but the outstanding thing for us was the staff- particularly reception. They accommodated our tricky situation with ease and we appreciated it immensely. Thank you very much.

Easy to access, great vibes from the hosts. enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the lake, and bathroom facilities were decent. I saw a friendly possum scoping out leftover food and many native birds wandering around my site. Everything seemed really well maintained, and there was enough dead branches for kindling and firewood for my two night stay.
The aspects less than ideal for me was hearing the neighbouring property (I think on the far left side of the "Lakeview" side) play loud music in the distance, and their vehicle engine idling for half an hour on Friday night. I also thought the light outside the bathroom building was quite bright and projected light that I could kinda see while in my tent. Good to know where to go but it felt unnecessarily bright.
There were huge flies to battle during the middle of the day, I guess just a good excuse to go for a swim. Something to prepare for though I'm not sure how to deter them - citronella lamps maybe?
I'd still bring my wife here for a future stay - perhaps further away from the bathroom area and other campers.
