Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in. The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type. 1 night at Possum Bush Retreat FARMSTAY

Possum Bush Retreat was bloody awesome! As an adventure rider it was such a beautiful place to moto camp. I stayed at the ridge camp site, bit of a hill climb to get up to it but nothing too difficult. It was scenic, peaceful and had the whole place to myself. Sharni and Graham were super friendly hosts, They made me feel welcome, made sure I had everything and plenty of firewood, I was even lucky enough to ride passenger in their off road buggies to see the whole property. Highly recommend this spot!

Weekend Trip to Bunya Red Farm

Mandy and Alan were very welcoming. They greeted us on arrival, gave us the lay of the land and the rundown on the amenities. About 4ish, Alan came dosn and rounded up the 4 kids and whisked them off into the next yard to feed the alpacas. Unfortunately we got rained out and couldn't stay the planned two nights, but the kids had a ball mucking about in the rain and chasing the frogs about. The amenities are fantastic - best campground shower I've ever had. The kitchen area is well-configured and we found anything we hsd forgotten to pack was probably in there. I'm definitely keen to stay again, hopefully during some cooler and more predictable weather.

My wife and I had such a nice time on the farm. We both loved the cabin and how you could get up and close with all the animals. It was a nice touch having the door next to the kitchen set up where you could pat and brush the cows and goats right there! We also were given a jar of chicken feed and some hay for the animals so we could feed them when we wanted - and they were all so used to humans. Bunya Red Farm was really fantastic! The caper farm tour was very interesting (and delicious) and feeding the alpacas was a highlight. The grounds were so picturesque with farmland views in all directions. We loved the star-filled night sky and serenity of the place. Mandy and Allen were incredible hosts. Would recommend a stay in a heartbeat.

We had the most wonderful experience at Bunya Red Farm! From the moment we arrived, Mandy and Alan made us feel completely at home. Our 6-year-old was in heaven climbing the big tree near the campsite — it quickly became the highlight of the trip! Alan’s farm tours were a great — informative, engaging, and an absolute laugh! Amazing host... Sharni and Graeme and their grandson are the best host you could ever asked for. Very accommodating and helpful. Graeme and the grandson Jax and Jacob welcomed us from the gate and lead us to the campsite. The friendly farm animals were also a big bonus. My son enjoyed this time playing with Jax and Jacob. Cant thank enough for their hospitality.

It’s a lovely place to relax, and we had a great time there. There were sheep and alpacas right outside our yard. We also went fishing at the dam — didn’t catch anything, but the sunset was absolutely divine. Recommend for families with young kids.

3 nights at Cahoola Cabins and Camping

"Cahoola Cabins" - a beautiful place to connect with family and relax in nature and tranquillity. The cabins are cute and well-equipped. The host, Jimmy, is really helpful, approachable and a pleasure to deal with. I'm looking forward to returning with a group of friends and family who enjoy camping and caravanning, as it's a great place to gather together.
